Hey gang! All of these paths require early whammy/squeezing. Some even double squeezing, but I made a little note on those activations. I also made notes when some activations have like 30th red and a 4th green preceeds it. For easier reference.

If you can't early whammy very good, like myself, try the activation a note or two ahead. You can also post in this thread if there is an error or a better path available. I'll try my best to update it.

A special thanks to MephistoJak for a better Roundabout path. And superspaz117 for No One Knows. Also switched three activations to No One Knows yet again thanks to MephistoJak's video. Big thanks to bclare for finding more points in Get Up, Stand Up. Last but not least, ProfessorJoe for his continued help and testing aka Free Bird, Good Vibrations, Killing Moon, Rainbow In The Dark, Walk Of Life, ect...

Hey se7en, I was wondering how long it would be until you did this. You're always the one who gets out here with bass paths for a new game, and I appreciate it. I'll definitely give some of them a try.

This sums it up nicely. I will be checking some of these paths out tomorrow. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Thanks for this. Our first three activations were basically the same. It doesn't matter if you go next note on the third activation or 10th green because you get the same result. The next 4 of yours were better. I updated the main page with it and a note with a thanks to you.

The final activation though, should be 2nd yellow. You'll get one more note with it than 3rd green.

First off, yes, I have the activation on the 10th G for the third activation. The result is just a few tick points, though, so it's no big deal if you don't care for tick points. I went hardcore with the path...lol.

Secondly, for the last activation, I disagree with you actually..because you can see in my video that if you activate on the 3rd green, you get to the G in measure 245. Doing it your way, you lose out on a note actually. I really don't see what you mean by your activation. Could you enlighten me?

Ughh... Nevermind. I muffed it thinking it was a regular overdrive phase. You were right. 3rd green it is.

I'll also put in those tick activations. You really did go out for this one, eh? Must be a favorite song?

3 - 4th Blue
2 - 5th Green

the NOK path is very similar to yours but not sure if it is better or not

I liked your No One Knows path. Our first two activations are basically the same. No more points gained. The next three are different. Overall, my path between those activations score 3376 to your 3361. Very close. I was actually hoping I could find a tweak or two to your path.

If you went 2 - 8th green, you would have gained more points. With 1st blue - 675, with 8th green 718. The next one with 1st green is good. You could also go 7th blue for the same result. The final activation of mine was 795 to your 781. At least I made up some ground with that one.

I thank you for posting your paths. Wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Going to update it with a note of thanks.

As for Free Bird, my path nets more points with pretty much every activation. I edited activations between usage. Your first two activations versus my first two. Same amount of overdrive usage. Mine got more points. Then the next combination got more points. I did not even calculate several holds on mine and it still won out. I liked a few of the later activations like the red/blue chord got a note a ticks better than I had. The 2 activations after the one that follows it were better. I have fixed all of those and will give it another look tomorrow. Going to be 3 a.m. and I have work tomorrow. Would not be surprised to see 1,000+ points out there with my path. These longer songs/paths are a pain. A note or two here, ticks there, it all adds up.

Forgot to edit this post till now. lol. But yeah, slightly more points in my version. You have a very good eye, though.

OK, first off, I'm assuming this is your "No One Knows" path
Secondly, I made a few adjustments to better it and I also had to re-FC it about 3 times to see how well they do against each other. This is the best one I came up with (video reference here):

NO ONE KNOWS
1(+1)-4th note next OD
2(+0)-3rd G
2(+1)-8th Y
2(+0)-8th G
1(+0)-7th G
3(+0)-8th Y
3(+0)-4th B
2(+0)-6th Y

-- I changed the 3rd activation because you can squeeze in the Y note before your activation says, and STILL get a full bar upon picking up the next OD.
-- I changed the 5th activation to 7th G because that adds a note on top of what you had.
-- I changed the 6th activation to 8th Y because, even though it gives the same amount of points initially, mine allows you to get tick points from a chord.

There ya have it...I hope you enjoy!

If you notice the quote of my path, it is the same as your path except the third activation. I saw your video last night, edited it, and credited your video on the first post.

I only forgot to fix the third activation. Which is now fixed. I was so tired/busy from work that I even deleted the name by accident. Also fixed.

Thank you very much Se7en. I'll definitely give these paths a try.
