Can you go through the steps again and explain exactly what you did from step 1, so I can try to help you figure out where you're going wrong?

I got them extracted just fine so I can say that LocalH's method works.

I like how they have the PRO_DRUMS updates for all the songs in their own mid file. It should be very easy to update existing mid's with those.

One thing that is troubling is the lack of the VENUE track. I have no idea how they are controlling lighting and cameras now but I would assume that this is why the SK no longer is supported.

I Did not change the dir that was my down fall I DID IT YES!!!!!!!!!! THANKS LOCIALH I LOVE YOU

BUMP!

Just to let people know, you'll now have to get xdelta from here. You'll probably need xdelta1 since the later versions aren't allowed to support so many files in a directory at a time.

From what I see of this data, there goes someone's proof of legacy vocal harmony (they thought it was originally included).

ok sorry for this large bump, but this method also works on the ps3, you cant apply the patch to the ps3 HDR though, because they are of a differant size, but you can manually edit it. just thought i should drop this here that the ps3 files are no different from the rest :P

Any chance I could get my hands on the RockLib 1.3 binaries?(I'm specifically looking for RockArk.exe and w/e I need to run it on Win7 x64.)

After doing a ton of digging and searching for the past few days I've managed to finally get my hands on a copy of Ark Tool, got xDelta working and now I just need RockArk.

For the love of rocking out with my dudes and in the interest of custom RB3 songs I say,

BUMP!

I will only keep it there for a couple of days since I don't know the legalities involved in making it public

thebestcoder923, how did you get the wii files extracted?

I have gotten as far as decrypting the main_wii.hdr file, but can't use the xdelta patch on it since the file size is different from xbox (589,023 bytes). What do you have to do the main_wii.hdr to make it work with RockArk?

This Man had already said it you have to hex edit it i did mine by looking at the hdr file for the xbox and changing the code there 4 steps (TIP Re-read the hex offset page LocalH Puts up at the end of page one)

1 Delete the hash section

2 delete the null code

3 delete the ark path info

4 run with rock lib

(YOU HAVE TO USE DTBCYRT IT FIRST )

Thank you!! Worked like a charm! Does anyone know if there is a way to decrypt the songs.dtb by any chance?
I guess what I mean is a way to get the songs.dtb formatted into a a songs.dta style format?

Use 'DtbCrypt' from ArkToolGUI. It requires use of command prompt.
