Hey everyone! Just thought you guys might be interested that TheSoundDefense and I have decided to start a podcast focusing on RBN and the songs we're putting through it. For now it's just RhythmAuthors stuff but I'm hoping to broaden the opinions and topics on the podcast with guest spots from authors on Creators as long as they're willing to hop on skype and just hang out for a bit.

Cut us some slack, though... it'll take us a while to get into the groove I think XD. This Podcasting stuff is tougher than it sounds! We're hoping to make this a bi-weekly podcast, but who knows how it will eventually turn out so subscribe if you want it straight into your iTunes or w/e podcatcher.

If you have suggestions PLEASE post them here, or e-mail them to me, or send them to me on Twitter, or mail me a letter... or w/e else. I'd love to hear whatever feedback you guys have.

Thanksgiving Medley, make it happen! lol.

For a first podcast it sounded great. And the background noise wasn't really an issue.

Bump for the 2nd episode, and I want to hear what you guys would like us to talk about. I think Episode 3 is going to mark our first guest so any general questions about RBN, authoring companies, or if you're just wondering our thoughts on general RB topics then post away!

Also, starting the 15th the podcast will be distributed on every other Monday.

Mystakin, did you forget about this? The third episode is up.

We talked about the Squier and Bon Jovi and breakfast cereals and I generally sound like a bit of a dork but oh well.

I didn't forget I guess I'm a bit discouraged to see no conservation around this stuff, though... oh well. I'll try to keep this bumped either way.

I really like the music you guys are featuring. Gives me a chance to check the bands out, before their song(s) are released.

The RBN sub-forum is generaly quite dead in the first place, so expecting large ammounts of discussion on much (Especaly podcasting) is a bit of a stretch.

I am enjoying the podcast so far though, and the editing is superb. Keep up the good work!

It's OBVIOUSLY some Venetian Snares or Godspeed You! Black Emperor...

or some pop/rock band <_<

Much as I'd love some instrumental post-rock, naw. This is a genre that's legitimately never been done before. (And I'm not, like, making up genres to give it that distinction.) But the management is very cautious and sluggish on getting things through on their end, which is good for them but a little frustrating for us. (I mean, the song is done. They're the only hold-up at the moment.)

I guess you could argue that they're a pop band, though... I mean, if they covered Weezer or Vampire Weekend it wouldn't be totally out there, relative to their other stuff.
