Note: the original information I got was wrong. No fail is NOT on by default. You can turn it on easily enough after you fail a song, but it is not going to be on unless you turn it on.

Right..the option isn't on by default, but if it's off and you fail, you can just hit resume and keep playing as if you had paused the game.

From what I've heard, you do. It won't really affect the top parts of the leaderboards though so I think it's actually a nice feature. I can finally post a score for WANTHAC.

You do not get score in that case. It's basically like a practice mode run from there. If you turn on "no fail", your score will save, however.
