Oh man, people are going to be ECSTATIC with this announcement. I'm one of the few, but I loooooooooove Madhouse, so happy it's coming back to Rock Band. And I'll take some Atreyu and Doobie Brothers to go along with that goodness.

I just realized something upsetting. Closer to the Edge, like This is War and Kings and Queens, will probably be classified as EMO even when it's obviously not.

THIS WEEK IS FILLED WITH WIN AND MORE WIN.

Gonna have to get like 90% of this. Kinda wish we got Dead! repeated from GH2, but that's hardly deters my excitement.

Also, two GH:WoR songs in one week? Sure is GH trollan 'round here.

A little while after RB2 came out, I spent some time filling out stuff on my rockband.com profile, and
Years ago when I first registered on rockband.com, I put three bands on my list of "bands that should be in Rock Band" and haven't touched it since. They were the Doobie Brothers, Michael Jackson and Queen. Well, I'm willing to take the Jackson 5 rather than MJ's solo stuff and say next week represents the fulfillment of that wishlist. That is, if getting to play China Grove on RB3 at PAX didn't already do that :-)

Other stuff looks like it has potential to be fun, too :-)

Totally psyched for this week. This is the best week we've had in a long long while. Getting the Anthrax tracks at least, probably the Doobie Brothers tracks also. So excited.

An amusing thing I noticed also: Indians and I'm Not Okay (I Promise) are also in GH:WOR. This week of DLC is being released on the same day as GH:WOR is being released in the states. Coincidence? Probably not.

Anthrax = fucking awesome week. Huge miss on the MCR tracks, but you're still fucking awesome for the Anthrax, Harmonix.
