Elite Battle Zone does not have a large amount of rules for participants to follow. We ask that when performing actions in the forum the forum rules are followed at all times. Rules for each tournament sponsored by Elite Battle Zone must be followed at all times.

Each player wishing to participate in this great tournament must register in the forum of the Elite Battle Zone. They must activate their accounts, and submit an application to participate.

32 to 64 online Playstation 3 Rock Band 2 players will be selected for the EBZ Rock Band 2: Guitars Gone Wild tournament.

One 32 to 64 guitar wielding warrior bracket will be created displaying each participant’s name.

Each participant on the top of each 2 player bracket will be responsible for creating the battle room.

Each battle must start no later than 20 minutes after each round set time. If the participant responsible for creating the battle room fails to create the room that player will be given a loss, and the participants opponent shall be victorious, and advance in the brackets. The advancing player must submit the results as a forfeit from the other participant, and state that player was a no show, and did not create the room.

The 1st Round of this tournament is slated to Start Thursday September 16, 2010 at 9:00 pm est. Each player must report the battle results no later than 30 minutes after the battle. We must be able to get all information in fast to update standings bracket, and to start the next rounds of this tournament. It is important that results be submitted, and contestants follow the rules, and have fun.

After each round and with the standings being updated the next round of this tournament will start according to the time layout posted in the Standings Bracket thread of the tournament forum. The same procedure will be followed for making battle rooms, reporting results, and moving forward in the standings bracket.

Round 1 Thursday September 16, 2010 9:00 pm est.
Round 2 Friday September 17, 2010 12:00 pm est.
Round 3 Friday September 17, 2010 3:00 pm est.
Round 4 Friday September 17, 2010 6:00 pm est.
Round 5 Saturday September 18, 2010 12:00 pm est.
Round 6 Saturday September 18, 2010 3:00 pm est.
Round 7 Saturday September 18, 2010 6:00 pm est.
Round 8 Saturday September 18, 2010 9:00 pm est.
Round 9 Sunday September 19, 2010 12:00 pm est.
Round 10 Sunday September 19, 2010 3:00 pm est.
Round 11 Sunday September 19, 2010 6:00 pm est.
Round 12 Sunday September 19, 2010 9:00 pm est.

The participants responsible for making the battle rooms must have the opponent on their friends list were they can be sent an invite into the battle room no later than 20 minutes after the official start time of that round. Make sure to have that player on your friends list 1 day in advance of Round 1, and an invite sent to each new player as you advance in the tournament as soon as standings bracket are updated. The participants shall make the room with the following settings.

The first 20 participants to sign up for the EBZ Rock Band 2: Guitars Gone Wild tournament will receive free a Custom Kick Drumhead Rocker Skull Design for the Rock Band 2 drum set. These are normally valued at $5.99 and are free. Participant must be registered in the Elite Battle Zone forum, and delivery information emailed to the EBZ2010 so they may be sent out when tournament starts. Don't be the guitar wielding god who misses out on one of these great gifts.

Matches: Best of 3 Random Songs
Mode: Expert
Instrument: Guitars

REPORTING THE WINNER

The winner of the two players sends a message over PSN to "EBZ2010"
stating yours and the other persons PSN name and the final score!

Results must also be reported in the Rock Band 2 forum of the Elite battle Zone.

QUITTING/DROPPING

If a player quit/drop while playing, the match goes to the opponent!

OPTIONAL SECURITY MEASUREMENTS

After winning take a printscreen of the scores while still in the lobby.

How to do this!

Press the PS Button > Photos > Save Screenshot > Press X.
If an argument derives of who is the winner this image will hold as evidence.

APPOINTING YOUR NEXT OPPONENT

I "EBZ2010" will send both players a message on PSN with your upcoming opponent.
Each person has 20 minutes to add each other and get in to a game room.
Failing to do so will count as a lost to the "inactive" person.

Each player should also look at the brackets to confirm their next opponent. We are all
human, and we make mistakes.

GLITCHES/EXPLOITS

Players are forbidden from using any game or hardware glitches or exploits to gain or attempt to gain an advantage.
Use of any glitch or exploit will result in a forfeit loss and potential suspension or banning from the Tournament, at EBZ's discretion.

The official time zone for this tournament is Eastern Standard Time. Participants must be aware of their own timezones, and the difference in times for each battle. Not knowing your own time does not allow for forgiveness for not showing for the battle.

1 participant from each tournament will win this prize.

The hard dates are not final. This is the inaugural EBZ Rock Band 2: Guitars Gone Wild tournament. I understand to make it a great success it must change. I could use the help, and opinions to make it better for all participants.

As you all can see it is sponsored by Mad Catz, and Mad Catz is the official licensed manufacturer of all Rock Band 3 merchandise. It would be nice to get some feedback to make this a great tournament. We will continue these tournaments until Rock Band 3 comes out, and then we will be having some great Rock Band 3 tournaments.
