Interesting song choice. Should be a long grind... Am I reading that correctly that we have through Wednesday night to submit our best? |
*gulp* hell of a run, there yelsraek. Even if my choke-run didn't have those unforced errors, it probably wouldn't have matched you. Congratulations on a well-earned finals berth. _________________

Yes, finals scores can be submitted until the end of the day Wednesday. Good luck all!
Edit: And I am sure most of you know, the other song choice possibility was STTP. However, after all the optimals and such I went with a song that makes sure of no ties (BRE + fast roll extremely tough to hit).
Also at 5 and a half minutes, it's really not a long song when you look at final tier songs Painkiller, Panic Attack, Teenage Riot, and even STTP.
IMO this song is the perfect choice for the finals of a drum league. Every single thing will be a factor:
Speed (Fast rolls)
Technique (Weird fills and fast rolls)
Timing (Squeezing + BRE)
No other song truly combines all 3 of these things into something that could truly affect the outcomes in any other song well. _________________

Thanks! All told, I had 3 GS runs over maybe 10+ hours of grinding, but this was the only one where I hit the blue sextuplet in an OD phrase. I just barely GS'ed it the other two times. _________________

Daaaaaaaamn, it's been one hell of a friggin' run. Got optimal on 3rd FC of this, which was about the 20th'ish run or so on this.
Arrh, Bodhisattva would've been one hell of a final, but oh well, good luck to the finalists, I'll be rooting for WarlordTm. _________________

Well, Bodhisattva will be one hell of a ride... just FC'ing *to* the outro is hard enough, let alone FC'ing those rolls _________________

Make sure you get your scores in today! Imagine how bad it would feel to grind all week on a song for you opponent to not submit or complain about forgetting, etc.
Don't be that guy =).
Remember picture proof!
Final good luck wish =D _________________

Aww... I was afraid my score wouldn't be good enough . I missed 100 before even getting to organ break and I'm sure I missed at least another back-end. I should've just played the song whenever I had the time, instead of doing other stuff... I'd probably gotten the FC . Oh well, ending up runner-up isn't too bad, considering I didn't have a single optimal score on RB before leagues started and my best FC was Give It All
Grats on winning this league, Thebeast! You've been giving all of us a hard time this season _________________
