Tambourine Hits (360 vs. Ps2)

While playing the ps2 version of RB today, I FC'd Don't Fear the Reaper, and got a score that was 10k over the highest 360 one. There had to be some mistake. So I took a closer look. It turns out on the ps2 version of RB every tambourine hit counts for 100 points. I believe the 360 version only rewards you with 25. Can anyone confirm please?
EDIT: Ok, nevermind. I figured it out. The tambourine parts are affected by your current multiplier on the ps2, unlike on the 360.

Dang. I should've got the PS2 version. Yall have lower Gold Star limits and more points on tambourine hits!

I believe the multiplier carries through to the tambourine/cowbell. If you only had a 3 times multiplier it would only count 75
