What happened to RBN on Wii?

I'm not sure if I heard this right, but wasn't RBN supposed to be released on Wii the same day as on PS3? If not, is there any info I'm missing and what not? I hope Wii users didn't get screwed over.

EDIT: I obviously mean RBN songs.

My guess is that they are trying to work around the fact that you can't patch the game.

Rock Band 3 by the earliest since the 'no patch' thing the wii has going on.

It's a good point people are making with the patch issue. Basically the only way RBN songs could be available on Wii is if HMX releases them in the same manner (same in-game store etc) as regular DLC, and the licensing and stuff is probably different for that so they would need to work it out and possibly contact any artist or their label and get new paperwork signed before they could release the songs in the Wii music store.

Well, at least RBN may have a shot on RB3 Wii. They could add an "RBN" button in the menu to do this. If it'll be on RB3 Wii, well, at least it's better than no RBN for Wii at all.

Didn't HMX have issues just getting regular DLC up? The Wii can't handle patching and even if it could, Nintendo would just say LOLNO because they don't seem to like money anymore.

HMXHenry (think it was him) basically said the Wii is too technologically backwards to support RBN, but they're still trying to work on it or something.
