I've got to say that the best songs I've played on Guitar are Burn It Down and We Are Not Anonymous. Every guitarist should pick up both songs!
Guitar - Burn It Down (Five Finger Death Punch): The main riff is great. Pretty much all HOPOs, and just feels great when you hit it. The only problem with this song is the odd alt strumming, but with a bit of practice, it is actually pretty easy to hit.
Guitar - We Are Not Anonymous (Unearth): This is my favorite guitar song on RBN! It's probably going to be a bit hard for the casual player, but for someone like me (dedicated player), the difficulty is perfect. Overall the whole chart is fun, with only one section in the solo giving me a problem. EVERY GUITARIST SHOULD HAVE THIS SONG!
I would also recommend Elements by Texas In July and Battle Royale by The Word Alive, but I need to play them more before I can say too much about them. _________________

Guitar and Bass - Hook, Line and Sinner - Texas in July - 80 MSP - Video
Both charts are super fun to play. The ending on guitar seems really hard and I always loose rhythm but maybe thats because I'm a bass player and hard things confuse me ;)
Bass line is super tits |

I was going to post in here, and then I found this. EXACTLY my thoughts on both songs. I'll add some info on the songs:
Five Finger Death Punch - Burn It Down (a full band video!) It costs 160 MSP, and is a fucking amazing song. I'll throw it out there for the Overall and Music categories too.
Unearth - We Are Not Anonymous 80 MSP, and I'm putting it in the Music category as well. Sweet song. _________________

* Guitar *
PP/LL is epic
Even Rats is epic
However, the track that had no nostalgia attached that I really like is "The complexity of light", it's great fun. The Steve Vai songs were not as much fun as I thought they were going to be, but they're worth buying.
I'm looking forward to Cheat on the Church (I keep assuming that it's coming? I might have made it up I guess) and Arterial Black. Nostalgia ftw! _________________

Guitar and Bass - Doomsday Party - Sybreed - 80 MSP - Video
This song is awesome!! Guitar part is better than the bass since you're playing more. I actually think the bass line is a little annoying but its still a good challenge. But yea, awesome great fun song. and only 80 MSP!! |

Guitar: Push Push (Lady Lightning), Mordecai
Drums: Push Push (Lady Lightning)
Vocals: Mordecai, Battles And Brotherhood
Music: All 3 listed above
Suppose I should give reasons.
Push Push (Lady Lightning) Guitar: Fun song to play overall, can get you very hyped whilst playing. Ending solos are very fun.
Push Push (Lady Lightning) Drums: See what I said on Guitar there? Pretty much the exact same reason.
Mordecai Guitar: Very tricky, but at the same time a fun song to play.
Mordecai Vocals: Okay, so the first half of the song is talkies, but the second half of the song is absolutely beautiful and a real joy to sing in my opinion.
Battles And Brotherhood Vocals: Can be a good laugh trying to hit some of those insanely high pitches. But at the same time not too difficult overall, which means you can go at them without much worry of bailing.
As for the Music reasons... Just listen and learn.
Push Push (Lady Lightning) - 80MSP
Mordecai - 160MSP
Battles And Brotherhood - 160MSP _________________

For me I'll give my two favorite drum charts at the moment:
Stick Stickly by Attack Attack!: Just something about this song on drums is fun to me (Maybe it's the techno bit at the end )
&

Drums - Elements - Texas in July - 80 msp - Video
On to the other end of the spectrum:
Drums - Do Not Disturb (Tell Me How Bad) - Let's Get It - 80 msp
I didn't see any videos with good quality. I played the demo and loved it; I now play this song more than any other. It's also helping me with the verses in The Complexity of Light. _________________

Is there any reason to get Stick Stickly if I think it's a terrible song? |
