With all of the new songs coming in, and no official annoucements for them, it can be very difficult to find all of the great songs RBN has to offer! Hopefully, this thread can help people discover great songs to get.

There will be 6 categories; Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Music, and Overall. The purpose of this thread is to post replies with songs you think fall into one or more of these categories. Please post a video of the chart if it's on Guitar, Bass, Drums, or Vocals, and any video of the song for Music. If you can find a OMB or full band video for overall, that would be great, but don't sweat it. If you can't find a good video, just post a music video or something. Also, if you can, please post the price. Here are descriptions of each of the categories:

Guitar - The song is fun on Guitar. Not necessarily really difficult, but something you think most Scorehero members would enjoy playing. For example, I would put YYZ in this category because it's a song that I think most Scorehero guitarists would enjoy playing.

Bass - The song is fun on Bass. Not necessarily really difficult, but something you think most Scorehero members would enjoy playing. For example, I would put Hysteria in this category because it's a song that I think most Scorehero bassists would enjoy playing.

Drums - The song is fun on Drums. Not necessarily really difficult, but something you think most Scorehero members would enjoy playing. For example, I would put Fear of the Dark in this category because it's a song I think most Scorehero drummers would enjoy playing.

Vocals - The song is fun on Vocals. Not necessarily really difficult, but something you think most Scorehero members would enjoy playing. For example, I would put Don't Stop Believing in this category because it's a song I think most Scorehero vocalists would enjoy playing.

Music - Disregarding the actual charts, if you think a song is great and you really like listening to it, then it would go in this category. This is more subjective, but if you like a song, suggest it! For example, I would put Roll With the Changes here, because I, personally, really like the song.

Overall - Take everything into account. How fun each instrument is, how fun it is in full band, how great musically it is, how long the song is, the price, everything. For example, I would put the Who Superbowl S-mashup in here because I think that overall, it's worth buying.

Songs can be in more than one category. For example, depending on the person, Tornado of Souls might fit into all 6 categories!

If a song is already nominated for a category/categories, but you think the same song also belongs in another category/categories, then post it! Your opinion is always welcome.

If you think a song is kind of good for a category, or maybe not because it's a bit difficult/easy, suggest it anyway! As long as we don't go so overboard that it's impossible to find anything, someone will probably benefit from your suggestion.

Some people are forgetting to post how many MSP each song costs. If you know that information, it would be very appreciated.

Please post your responses in this format (so I can put the information in exactly as you intended it):

(Category/Categories) - Song name - Artist - Price - Video link (in URL tags, please)

Remember, the goal is to help people find great new songs! Post away!

I'll add some more.

Guitar - He Sleeps in a Grove - Amberian Dawn - 160 MSP - Video
Bass - He Sleeps in a Grove - Amberian Dawn - 160 MSP - Video
Drums - He Sleeps in a Grove - Amberian Dawn - 160 MSP - Video
Overall - He Sleeps in a Grove - Amberian Dawn - 160 MSP - Video

Vocals are a little interesting for my taste, and I'm probably not qualified enough to judge the actual vocal chart, but this song can definitely be put in those categories if you feel that it deserves to be.

Thanks for these. Do you know how much they cost?

So, essentially what you're recommending is difficult songs, but not necessarily difficult songs? I think I'm missing something here - Scorehero players aren't going to be looking for anything else in terms of charts so there's not much point even entertaining the idea of songs that aren't difficult in the chart-based recommendations.

I'll just go ahead and recommend Even Rats from a musical perspective - haven't played it yet, but it's a great song. Don't know how much it is, but there's a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b2JjJzuZUo

(For the record, since people usually misread what I mean: my intention is not to bitch, but to jokingly point out the irony of choosing a load of difficult songs as examples after specifically highlighting "doesn't necessarily have to be a difficult song".)

Difficult is subjective. Since this thread is posted on Scorehero, it's obviously implied that Scorehero member will be seeing this thread. From past experience, I have made the (what I think to be 100% accurate) assumption that Scorehero members are generally at a higher skill level. Also, from past experience, players at higher skill levels tend to have more restrictions as to what they consider "fun". For example, from one perspective, you could say that One Step Closer on Guitar is fun; it has a bunch of chord changes, some hammer-ons, and it's somewhat varied. But we're talking Scorehero; the people that are going to be reading this thread. I think most guitarists here would rather play Iron Maiden than One Step Closer (disregarding musical tastes).

I think you might be misinterpreting "Not necessarily difficult". As far as I'm concerned, that means "Could be difficult, but doesn't have to be". The key phrase there is "could be". I just included "not necessarily difficult" in there so people would understand that they were only limited to suggesting very difficult songs.

I'm up to about 25 RBN songs now (most of which were mainly just picked at a whim because I thought they sounded good), and I think "White Heat" might be the most fun Guitar song I've bought so far. It's a bitchin' tune too. Appropriately challenging for ScoreHero--nothing over the top, but it's constantly moving around and making you do all sorts of things. I don't remember if it was 80MSP or 160MSP, but whatever it was, it was worth it.

White Heat - Cetan Clawson and the Soul Side - ??MSP - Video

hands down your band has been the biggest surprise to me. Being a drummer i've constantly been playing these songs and i'm hoping you guys bring some more because your music is not only fun but is a song i would listen to regardless of whether or not it was on rock band. This is one of the reasons why i love rbn, it really has shown me some awesome up and coming bands.

A correction: All the Jonathan Coulton songs are actually 160MSP, not 80.

Music: Burn It Down, because I like that song... What other reason can I give? Also I think the guitar chart is fun, so I would nominate it for that as well. Kinda like Aesthetics of Hate, only fun.

also for Music: Not Even Rats.

Thanks Koenn; I'll fix that.

Thanks for your suggestions. But about Even Rats, that's why I was saying it's more subjective. Some people like the song, some people don't. That's why there are so many different kinds of music; there are so many different kinds of musical tastes.

And how much does Burn it Down cost?
