I didn't notice it too much.. but then again I've only purchased 3 songs..
2 Amberian Dawn ones (naturally I'm a AD fan girl) and the third eye blind one..
I didn't notice too much issue except maybe a little with the third eye blind one.. but maybe it was just years since I heard the song and I sucked that much trying to sing it haha. _________________

I've noticed it a little, too - maybe it's just a tendency by RBN authors to chart in a smaller range than HMX?
That doesn't explain the strange behaviour of one of Rx's phrases on Static, though, so I think there may well be some technical problems behind RBN vocal charting. Not being a charter myself, though, I can't really say. _________________

Was just the first two, decided to do Saturdays as well. | Serious advice now: No-one likes indecision in their work, so find what you like that you're even remotely good at, and stick with it. Don't flit from one thing to another, because that just smacks of a large lack of determination and drive. And people don't like you for that, and won't remember you for it. I mean, I get that you have a plucky spirit and a willingness to try new things, but there's a limit, man. | I might knock it down to just Thursday and Friday. |

I'd say it's just the pitches being charted in a smaller range than anything else. I've been finding myself to do far better on RBN sightreads than disc/standard DLC/imports. Then again I've not much room to comment, all I have RBN-wise is Mordecai, Battles & Brotherhood and Push Push (Lady Lightning). _________________

What do you mean by "wobble and wiggle"?
The RB2 engine is the RB2 engine, so it will react to songs the same way whether they are charted by HMX or by any of the RB Network authors. Of the Jonathan Coulton and Amberian Dawn songs I own, the arrow behaves just as I expect it should in each case. Thankfully the 360 isn't really subject to the PS3 shaky arrow syndrome.
If you mean that the arrow moves a greater vertical distance than you are used to for a given change in pitch, that isn't an error. It's due to the charted range of pitches in the song, and occurs for HMX charted songs as well. Compare anything by Boston (where it takes a large pitch jump to move the arrow) to Nirvana (where the arrow moves a lot for a small change in pitch). |

I'd say SakuraSylph just about hit the nail on the head there. Any RBN songs that seem shakier are just charted within a smaller pitch range, and as such there's no real cause for alarm. If there was actually an error in the programming of rbn songs I'm sure it would have been brought to attention by now. _________________

It's not really hurting my ability to FC songs, but it's making me a little more unsure of myself lol. Anyone else notice this, or it is just the songs I've been playing or just me?
Also, where I REALLY noticed it was playing How We'd Look On Paper. |
Welcome to what we've been complaining about since the game came out on the ps3 with the shaky arrow. IT IS ANNOYING ISN'T IT? lol _________________
