Anyway, I can not freaking believe they still have female characters as the default vocalists for SSPU songs! Give Brian Aubert some respect, he may sing like a 15 year old girl but he's a MAN, MAN.

All SSPU songs are set to male vocals. I can't think why you'd think that it's set to female.

I had a lot of fun this week on drums. The disturbed pack is all around decent, if nothing exemplary.

Motherhips:
Third Story Floor was okay on drums, but not the best. White Falcon Fuzz was pretty darn fun despite being a bit repetitive.

Silversun Pickups:
Panic Switch was, like most SSPU drum songs, fun but repetitive. Sort Of was great. Again, a bit repetitive, but hugely fun beats with an amazing bridge section. A very distinctive chart.

Note: For drummers who haven't quite gotten the hang of crossovers, both the Motherhips songs and the SSPU songs are GREAT help with this.

White Falcon Fuzz has a bunch of fills that don't look like natural sticking, but are if you crossover (almost every fill is like that), and it's at an incredibly slow tempo, so you can ease into it as slow as you'd like. Third Floor Story has less of this but it's still there, and at a bit faster tempo.

Panic Switch has tons of Red-->Blue crossovers, which can be tough at first but, after doing them enough, become pretty natural. as I said, great crossover practice. Sort Of has these same, but also the verse beat includes TONS of blue-->Red crossovers at a medium tempo.

Anyways, all four of these songs are great if you're like me and haven't quite picked that skill up yet. If you can learn to do it, then a lot of fills become a lot easier. And the outro of New Fang becomes less of a total and complete clusterf***(I've passed Visions, embedded, this is exile, etc but I still haven't passed that song).

The star is Downfall. This song is by far one of the most fun drum songs I've played in a very long time. Lots of varying beats and interesting fills. Just great overall.

Even though the only 3 songs I enjoy are the Mother Hips tracks and Panic Switch (and have an absolute loathing for Disturbed), this is a pretty solid week. I'm just waiting for RBN, though. Please come out soon!

Not too keen on Sort Of, but Panic Switch is bad-ass. Rock and roll, brothas! And you gotta love the loose jams of the Mother Hips.

Great week on drums, Downfall is now one of my favorites to play.
