There is also the "putting a piece of PVC pipe from the main support to the outer drums" thing. I think there are some pics from someone that sells these. I used some PVC from around the house myself. I'll take some pics if needed.
This adds allot of support to the outer drums and is prolly one of the easiest mods to do.
My problem was that my 2 year old would try to hang on the outer drums and in case I was not their to stop her, she might snap them off. I cut some PVC pipe into sticks about 10" long I think and just popped them in place. Now the set is very sturdy AND it seemed to help with doing drum rolls which makes sense now that the outer drums are not flapping in the wind. |

Sticky for update!
Excellent job putting all of this together. With the addition of this thread, Scorehero has officially become THE place to look for hardware modding ideas. _________________

Please do not re-ask the same exact question that was just asked by someone else. I'm pretty sure that no-one has both and can give you an informed decision about which they like better. Use the search button both here and on the Rock Band forums where other people are also discussing these options and see what people have to say about them. Take a look at the hardware with your own eyes, consider the price and then make an educated decision for yourself.
Once you have done so, post your own review in an existing thread to help other people make up their minds. _________________
