It's a text event for any instrument track, it puts the avatar into a non-playing/singing animation. See http://creators.rockband.com/docs/Guitar_and_Bass_Authoring#Character_Animations

Alright, it's a very primitive RBA file (no drum actions, total BS'd Easy, Medium, Hard, etc.), but at least the chart is done. Thanks so much!

Okay, I've been keeping my cool with this program for the last two days trying to sort through errors and get it to work. I've watched 3 video tutorials and read 2 others. I haven't found out what to do with this error however:

Quote:
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: c:/users/joey/desktop/sl midi.mid (BEAT): Found event(s) after the [end] event; [end] is at 92:1:040, last event is at 119:4:120

Information you may need to know. I made a chart in Feedback, converter it to Midi, etc..etc.. I have just 4 tracks with a midi file in them (GUITAR PART, EVENTS, VENUE, and BEAT). I've followed the tutorial provided in adding the (start/end) events under the EVENTS tracks. I've also inserted green note into each difficulty of the song because it says i have to have a note for each one. I've gone into my BEAT track and taken a look at the events listed. The only one is at the very start and its called "BEAT".

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

There can be no midi notes, text events, or tempo/time signature changes after the [end] text event in the EVENTS track.

Woohoo! Finally got a song to compile all the way :P Thank you very much for your help. My only issue now is the applause/cheering. It's constantly playing the applause throughout the song. I didn't notice an event that starts it or anything in my track... How can I manipulate/turn off the applause?

You can't turn off the crowd noise, but the clapping to the beat is controlled by the [crowd_clap] and [crowd_noclap] text events in the EVENTS track. Also, the practice mode venue has louder crowd noise than the actual venues.

If anyone can help me make an autoplaying full band video of this RBA, I'd be greatly appreciative. The audio is mine, so don't worry

Alright, new error, and it seems that this only happens in the newer version of Magma, because I never had this error before. This isn't an error that I don't understand what it wants me to do, but it's a crippling error that stops me from making Guitar and Bass RBA files.

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: c:/users/alan/documents/satanic dance.mid (PART BASS): Difficulty easy needs gems in lane(s) 4 5 to match expert
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: c:/users/alan/documents/satanic dance.mid (PART BASS): Difficulty medium needs gems in lane(s) 5 to match expert
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: c:/users/alan/documents/satanic dance.mid (PART GUITAR): Difficulty easy needs gems in lane(s) 2 4 5 to match expert
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: c:/users/alan/documents/satanic dance.mid (PART GUITAR): Difficulty medium needs gems in lane(s) 2 3 5 to match expert
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: c:/users/alan/documents/satanic dance.mid (PART GUITAR): Difficulty hard needs gems in lane(s) 2 3 4 to match expert

I don't understand why this happens, because you obviously can't have gem 5 in easy. Does anyone know a way around this?

Harmonix updated the charting standards and decided that now you actually have to put every kind of gem in the lower difficulties.

Well, they haven't updated creators.rockband.com, so that seems kind of weird. However, I'll try it when I get the chance :P
