seeking expert drums rival

damn acra thats sweet, it'll count thats fine, its actually gonna motivate me to do better on that song (not that THAT would count for this rivalry but i want to anyway ;])

and jerbear, im gonna have to say that you have three options.. one is to only do the section giving you trouble on slow, two is to just play the whole song over and over (sucks right?), and three is to find a buddy with a 360 and play that section on fast over and over on their game =)

I don't mind playing the whole song, just sometimes it gets pretty repetitive, particularly when the part I want to practice is near the end of the song (ballroom blitz).

oh well, here's hoping the rivalry pushes me to actually play enough to FC some of these songs.

Indeed, lets get going, I need more motivation besides seeing all of Nmits new scores...I was getting close to a few of them until you added the newest ones. I've almost broken 8mil...if I go back and do the bonus songs past my sight read I'll probably get there.

On a slightly different topic, what do you guys all use for equipment? Stock drums and pedal or have to modded your kits at all?

I'm looking into the gum rubber pads and I have my bass drum pedal and all the stuff to make a reed switch driven circuit, but I haven't gotten around to getting it put together yet.

On a side note... I was trying to do BWT while Drumming (X) and Singing (M). It's ridiculously hard.

first to answer jerbears question, i am using stock equipment, even the stock sticks... i yearn for a nice bass pedal though, but i doubt im gonna have the patience to do something about it lol

next, acra.. when is this song due, i was working on it before and got a pretty good score and just wanted to know when to post it here.. im gonna keep trying to get better until due date but as motivation, what i will tell you, is that i got gold =)

To Jerbear: Standard everything. I really wish I had a real kick though. Can't really do Heel-Toe with the RB pedal.
