Decent week for me, nothing too good or too bad. Might have to check out the Tom Petty songs though.

It would seem so as people have talked about playing them in the other thread.

Added full band chart preview links to everything but Jet.

Runnin' down a Dream solo looks awesome.

Let the chart comparisons commence!

Well...for only 2 songs. And for guitar, as that's all anyone really cares about.

Rebel Yell (Guitar Hero World Tour)
Runnin' Down A Dream (Guitar Hero 5

I have to say, when it comes to these songs...I actually prefer Neversoft's Charting. Partially (Well, mainly) because I hate the way that HO/PO chords end up ruining charts (Look at Even Flow, I love the chart apart from the string bends which are the broken HO/PO chords), unnecessary chords 'n that. That was aimed specifically at Rebel Yell's Solo, which is why I prefer GHWT's version. Also, Laser Trills FTW.

As for Runnin' Down A Dream...Well, the solo's longer, for a start. And it looks like it just runs better. Once again, the rest of the song is pretty much the same, but the solo looks more fun to play on GH5.

In other news, dead week for bass, Boo

Holy crap, I knew Running Down A Dream sounded familiar. It's on K-DST on GTA: San Andreas! *downloads*

I'll also get Rebel Yell because that was one of the most fun guitar songs on World Tour and I like this chart too (laser guitar FTW).

World Turning is a friggin earworm, I might buy that in RB AND download it for my Zune.

Wow, just played both the Petty songs. WBD was an easy FC, but RDaD had an epic solo, if you're a Guitarist get it. If you like Tom Petty, get them both.

From what I saw the two Fleetwood Mac songs look kinda neat. I also like that they charted the lasers in Rebel Yell again.

And my TV just died last night. Before Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty DLC comes. Just fucking great.

Speaking of which, inb4 "boo overtiered" fanbrats come and ramble about World Turning. I won't be surprised if people think that, but on guitar it looks like somewhat of a finger twister.

World Turning looks like it has a pretty unique chart on every instrument, although the only one that actually looks consistently fun is guitar.

Nothing else stands out to me chart-wise besides the guitar solos in Rebel Yell and Runnin' Down a Dream.

I think Mony Mony could be an amazing party song, though. I'm just imagining playing it at a party where the singer gets really into it and everyone else in the room does all the back up singing, and I think it would probably be among the best Rock Band experiences possible.

Running Down A Dream looks like insta-win. I have enough points for one mroe song, and it'll probably be either Don't Stop or Rebel Yell.
