Ok, previous experience playing percussion (marching band) so i know how to properly hold sticks, even traditional. I'm still having troubles with my wrist hurting, i've adjusted the height of the pads, the strength of my hit (it was a pow now it's a dink) please help me cause i hear that drumming can lead to carpol tunnel (sp?) so thanks in advanced.

I dunno. Ill do fine until its a song with a nonstop beat on my right hand.
then my hand starts to hurt. Plus since its a game you tend to hit it harder hoping itll register better.
specially when you start missing a bunch. then I hold it like a caveman and whack on it.
yet left hand is fine.

It's hard to say. I've been playing drums (not professionally or anything) for 14 years and while I can feel the start of fatigue setting in after long, fast sections, my hand never actually hurts as a result of playing.

It may be that you should get some anti-vibe sticks. The stiff rubber pads actually cause a lot of vibration to travel down the sticks, with the only thing to absorb it being your hands. Anti-vibe sticks are built with this in mind and have rubber butt-plugs built in which take the stress off your hands.

i would suggest doing the above. I play drumset and play drums for school, and then going to RB is a huge difference and does tend to hurt.
Im thinkin it is because of the lack of rebound, makin you required to do more work, but thats just my thoughts.

For me it seems like the sticks are too small and slippery, making my hand use a lot more muscle to maintain a solid grip.

Nod. Im looking into them gum rubber pads to add rebound and them some of them special stix.
I wanna be able to hit the yellow and have it bounce back and whack me in the forehead.
