Janis Joplin and The Band are my picks for most fun on drums this week. Magic Bus was just too epic of a drum chart for me. I failed at 75%... The bass is too fast for me to keep a combo, and then the triplets came and destroyed my world.
I think Young Man Blues could potentially be FC'd before Magic Bus, but both are outside my realm of capability, so who knows... |

maybe I'm wrong, but does anybody else think it's seriously mischarted?
in the main riff, there are 4 quick little strums on either the red or yellow fret.
Yet, in just about every cover video/tab I've seen, that bit is played as a 3-note hammer on sequence.
It was still super fun, but I'm just wondering who's right and who's wrong. |
Yep. Also, Feel Good Inc. bass is (bizarrely) missing a note in the main riff- the way it's charted, you play a note, pause, play three, pause, then play two, but IRL you go 1-4-2 with the occasional slide. It's simple, but it kinda ruined that part for me. _________________

Gorillaz was alright, though after playing Feel Good Inc, I'm bummed that it is in GH5 and not Clint Eastwood which is super easy UNTIL OUT OF NO WHERE TRIPLETS! WAH! lol
Aside from that I did like the drummer singing also. Abit of a surprise. Overall semi-enjoyable since they are abit of a guilty pleasure of mine, even with the awful rapping in the songs lol |

Woodstock songs and Clint Eastwood are highly reccomended. Also, Re-Hash on bass is like More Human Than Human, in the sense that you're doing the same thing throughtout the whole song, but what you're doing is still awesome.
Alice in Wonderland ftw. |

Every song this week is awesome for some reason.
Clint Eastwood easily wins because of the vocals, the unexpected guitar, and the kick-ass appropriate visuals that came along with it. Re-Hash and Feel Good Inc. are also nice with their own little bonuses.
The classic rock tracks are just about amazing on every instrument and have their own charm to them.
-Piece of My Heart has awesome vocals, but the bass, drums and guitar are all also very fun. Perhaps the best full band song of the week. Chest Fever is also pretty good on everything.
-White Rabbit is a great classic, good for the library and has some nice background effects. Like when it starts shifting around the end of the song. Fun guitar and vocals.
-Magic Bus is pretty self-explanatory. Not to mention that it's cool to see the other members of the band talking to Roger during the song. What's fun about this song is that each instrument has moments where they are calm, then they go off the damn rails with something crazy.
HMX, please do more songs using the visuals to their effects, because this week REALLY proves that. _________________

That piano solo they charted for guitar is badass. I don't think I've ever heard it in the song, which is a shame because it's pretty cool. The main 'riff' is boring as bollocks to play though.
Re-Hash is pretty sweet too.
Feel Good Inc isn't as cool on bass as it sounds.
Piece of my Heart, White Rabbit, and Magic Bus were all adequately enjoyable to play (and iirc, Magic Bus was actually kind of difficult). The songs are good enough that it doesn't even matter. |

You're aware that that makes the GH5 appearance the repeat, right? >_> _________________
