If this is as fun as the tiering indicates on drums, then I just might have to get this when I get more points now that I've caught up on most of the DLC.

From what I played on my borked kit, it was very much so, although I do have a somewhat lenient definition of "fun". There's quite a few fills in every song and at least one has a solo.

Is the full album not available for Silver users yet? All I see right now is Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight.

The pack's not up for anyone yet. Harmonix knows about it, and is trying to get it sorted out.

As do I (have a broad definition of "fun". Excellent.

To be completely accurate this is not the rest of Back From the Dead but This Is Spinal Tap using the Back From the Dead re-masters. Yes, I'm that big of a nerd.

well the pack is up on XBL marketplace now. it's listed as "free" on the front page but when you go to buy it, it's the correct price of 1440 MSP.

If they're using Back From the Dead remasters, then those songs are techincally off the Back From the Dead album. Or am I misreading this?

The Rock Band Store lists the album as "Spinal Tap's Tap Ten", not "Back From the Dead" which has at least 19 tracks.

Of course, being Spinal Tap, there are 11 tracks in their top ten.

Yeah, my heart skipped a beat when I saw that. Damn teases.

Since that didn't work, I think I'm going to limit myself to Big Bottom for the lol factor and TIGRYT for the gameplay.

Oddly enough in the whole scheme of things, this is every song from the "This Is Spinal Tap" album which had 11 songs on it and is the famous line from the movie leading to the joke of the pack being called the "Tap Ten" with eleven tracks but also being the whole album using new masters. I guess they didn't call it "This Is Spinal Tap" is because of (Funky) Sex Farm and (Listen to the) Flower People (Reggae Stylee).

In other words, we're both right.

Wow, all this well it's off this album techincally is confusing. It's like This is Spinal Tap, but they used the new masters.

Well, anyway this is a really good week for like everything. I would have bought the entire pack, but I didn't have money. The one track off the album that is a must buy though is Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You (IMO).

Why is this thread titled "8/4 ALBUM DLC?" This is not an album release. There are still 5 songs from the album not in the game, and if I go to the "Albums" section on the Rock Band Store, nothing from Spinal Tap is there. If this is counted as an album, then so should Nevermind or Boston (but none of them should be).

I'm not sure if I'll get this. I thought the movie was rather overrated, and the only song I actually want is "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight." I hate buying single songs when they're available in packs tho. If they made a giant pack combining this pack and the last (and adding the 5 missing songs), I'd be a lot more compelled to buy this.
