It's been too long in between posts on this thread....
I am going to suggest we do something about it. I am working on a 1 day event in Massachusetts in an AWESOME venue in June... it is going to happen either way and there will be Rock Band Tournaments at this event.
However, If we can get some sponsorship I would LOVE to have this be the event that is being talked about in this thread.
There are some major problems preventing this event from happening...
In my experience there are not enough RB/GH players to support a major tournament in any given area to support a big enough cash prize to draw players from other areas....
If there are 30 pro players in Mass.... and they each pay $20 to enter a tournament that only gets you $600 to run your event with... and that's not enough money to make this happen. However you can't risk putting up the money to draw people from other states because it's not proven that they will actually come.
If you guys can find $2000 in sponsorship or if one of you wants to put that kind of money up and ACTUALLY HAS IT. We can run a $1,000 prize pool RB Guitar Tournament at my event otherwise.... it will be around $100-200 prize pool.
PM me if you can actually do this! |

What you could possibly do to increase the amount of people participating in these tournaments is make satellite tournaments in different cities or even online. These people would pay a certain fee to have the chance to participate. Then a certain amount of people can move on from there to the actual event.
Airfare would probably have to be provided if this was to actually work out in this fashion. _________________

this is a great idea! we should do it. in new york city in the Convention Center. its big. last time i went i was there for an xbox 360 premier, so i kno that there is more than enuf space to set up tables and multiple tvs if we wanted to have multiple duels goin on at once. but this competition needs to be open to all instruments. not just guitar and drums like a lot of competitions are. |

In the event of a code red, please do not orgasm over an accomplishment of an elite player. That is because the player is currently in the zone. You will run of out of jizz before he is finished.
Thank you for listening and please save all orgasms for the end of the ride. |
