I have a bass, and I can actually sort of play it (like half a dozen songs), so I don't know anything about writing, but I can follow tabs
Also, this is an amazing idea. Just sayin. _________________

^^ Thank you~
And perhaps you could think of something simple for a part of the song, or something, in which case? =D
EDIT: Actually, perhaps we can donate the earned money from this song to a charity? _________________

NOOOOO! you're forgetting the best part! WE MUST HAVE A BREAKDOWN. I'll work on that, since I have many ideas in that field.
And I could provide guitar for the breakdown too _________________

Okay! Where should we put it, then? I imagine after the solos? or before them? _________________

I play bass, but I don't have any of my own recording equipment, so I'd have to see about that. I've done bass parts for some local bands sometimes though. _________________

or not.
The only thing I could think of that we would need is an awesome difficult solo. _________________

we need MORE COWBELL. does anyone play the cowbell?
I play a Slammer (guitar) on a Marshall Amp (i can also make a Super Mario Bros sound on high notes and Hand that feeds bass sound on low strings, mainly E). i could definetly record something. but would need a tempo.
For a breakdown we could do something An Endless Sporadic-y. Weird sounding chords (7 or 9 chords i think)
EDIT: as for lyrics.......
Excuse all the blood!
Sorry for shooting indoors! (x2)
Suicidal!
Depression!
Rape the villiage!
Pilliage them all!
Within the woods
Lies a wood house
Melancholy
Psychomantis!
Slicing!
Cutting!
Skull made necklace
From his remains!
Mayhem!
Carnage!
Excuse all the blood!
Sorry for shooting indoors! |

How exactly is the recording of the whole song going to work? I assume everyone will be recording on their own equipment, so won't that create different qualities of recording? (assuming not everyone has the best equipment)
At any rate, if you need a sweet synth line in the song, I'd be happy to contribute. _________________

Copyright Infringment... *tsk tsk* I mean who are you to make fun of an innocent atheist displaying his love for depression and death.

I can play guitar.
Equipment:
Fender Princeton 112+ Amp
Ibanez White RG Series Guitar w/ tremelo locking system
I planned on getting a recording mic, stand a while ago so I might as well soon and since I re-found my wallet, it is definatley possible. I can also edit the audio and I took a small class in music theory and songwriting 101. |

I'm at least moderately skilled in all four Rock Band instruments (don't have my own drums, though), so I could gladly help with this. _________________

I could do something with the Album Art or something like that =D
Im very creative with that stuff, plus the thing I make with photoshop/GIMP are pretty good. My banners are good IMO, but album covers are another level, but I am sure I would be good at it. _________________
