I actually have an excel sheet that can go the other way around, so once I get the file I will add in Peace Sells and work on the OP. (Maybe ill start OP now).
I personally have one question. Lets say we have:
White Wedding (Pt. 1): 2/BOD (+284), 3/BOD (+0), 2/sk2 (+16)
. [62284, 118284, 154300] => 170,300 (RipleyLV426)
and someone comes along and hits a 288 first squeeze. (Lets call this playerA). Are people fine with me just listening people involved under credit (RipleyLV426, playerA). Or should I write how much they contribute (RipleyLV526(2), playerA(1)). Or any other suggestions. I assume that most songs won't have a single player getting the best ever squeeze on every activation.
Edit 1: Icemage, mind changing the "red" to "blue" for the colors. Hopefully a very very easy fix. It is better so I can have red and green available for what I added to OP.
Edit 2: New OP, let me know if you guys have any info I should add, or needs rewording, etc. I will talk about getting your info to the wiki and linking something very soon Vicromano.
Edit 3: I realize not every song that people have give is up here. As soon as I have the excel sheet I will be finishing off all the rest in this thread. Don't worry =). _________________

- Colors and positioning are easy to change. Literally 30 seconds of typing. Squeeze deltas are now colored in blue.
- I've added another column for optimal scores. Final posted scores which are below the highest available multiplatform score are now highlighted in red as per the OP.
- I've added IndestructibleSD's Peace Sells path, but added an additional credit for Brunaleskim, whose Peace Sells video I used to extrapolate the split scores. In addition, her video shows a better squeeze on the 1st activation than IndestructibleSD's path. This is still far short of the highest posted scores on XBL/PSN/Wii, though. Is one of the EW's supposed to be a BEW? In any case this song needs a better squeeze listing, as there are 904 additional points unaccounted for from the highest posted score (210,072).
- Fixed a bug in my calculation code where lots of early percussion points would lead to an incorrectly calculated split squeeze score (Bodhisattva).
- Spaces between lines removed, as per the OP.
- Something's wrong with Colony of Birchmen - is there a missing percussion section that needs to be listed? EDIT: Found it. There are 23 unlisted percussion notes after the 2nd activation. I've fixed the text listing below.
Question: Would it be useful to know the optimal score? I've already got the space for it, and since it has to be entered anyhow...
Amended list with the above changed format and entry changes follows:
---
A Jagged Gorgeous Winter: 2/ (+0), 3/sk1 (+368), 3/ (+0)
. [30000, 110368, 202368] => 214,368 (Vicroman20)
Ace of Spades '08: 2/ (+0), 2/ (+0), 2/BOD (+0)
. [30000, 58000, (T) 70250, 94250] => 98,250 (RipleyLV426)
Bodhisattva: , 2/ (+0), 3/ (+100)
. [(T) 13250, 67250, (T) 82250, 154350] => 167,550 (Icemage)
Colony of Birchmen: 3/sk1 (+0), 2/RS (+0), 4/ (+0)

Icemage, Indestructable has the 360/ps3 xplat on SH with a score above what you listed. Are you sure you have the tap counts correct for this song?
Also, Icemage, how about this. You know how i am now including the total squeeze score in red, green, or black. What if we just had the different next to it. So like 132,075(-25) or 176,230(+16), where the number in parenthesis are differences from optimal.
Edit: Peace sells, you first 2 numbers are correct... then on next OD you end at the end of measure 100. This means you will end after picking up 12 phrases. Three of those phrases are under full OD, then an extra 100 pts is available. Also, add in the 3000 points from 24 taps.
75068+3000(taps)+12*4000+3*4000+100=138168.
Then you pick up 7 phrases when you run out of OD next, 3 under OD.
142168+7*4000+3*4000 = 172168
Then there are simply 8 phrases left:
182168+8*4000 = 210168
This matches the xplat score... I think somehow you got 1000 extra in the 3rd squeeze, and then lost 3k for the next? Or something weird, I am not sure exactly what happened, but I assume it has to do with taps and miscounting the phrases.
Edit w/e: I know what happened. You program thought you picked up a full phrase extra for the 3rd activation, since you didn't enter taps, giving you 1000 extra points. Then your program didn't notice you picked up an entire 4000 point phrase thinking it was a partial phrase for the end, since I assume you are doing mod4000 or something like that, so when you pick up the 1000 it throws off the final number by 3000. _________________

Actually I had to extrapolate the split numbers based on the figures given by IndestructibleSD, plus a non-optimal FC video. I didn't catch the taps (24 of them to be exact, for 3000 points)
I've got it now, though.
Peace Sells: 2/ (+0), 2/ (+1068), 3/AT-sk1-EW (+100), 2/EW (+0)
. [34000, 75068, (T) 106068, 138168, 178168] => 210,168 (IndestructibleSD / Brunaleskim)
This is why it's important to supply the split scores rather than just the differential/ending scores.

Yes, this is doable. _________________

I still don't get why Brunaleskim is getting any credit then. The listen squeezes match what Indestructible completely provided. Not that this is a HUGE deal =). _________________

His post indicates 1052 on the 2nd activation - her video proves that more points are there (1068). That's why I left the credit in. _________________

That's funny, the optimal score on Psycho killer differs Xplatform.

Updated. Note that Peace Sells currently does not have an optimal score recorded anywhere (IndestructibleSD's 210,152 is the best recorded offline score, and the highest online score is 210,072), which is why the final score shows up in green.

Icemage I am glad we finally got an example in green. The goal of this thread is to find a bunch of songs in green so we know that there are actually more points out there, and that differing people have different best squeezes.
It's pretty rare on these common scores, but I am sure Vicromano and other people will soon find many scores where we are "missing" points as a community. _________________

I'm going to let things settle for another day or so then I'll send you my work-in-progress.
Finalized posting format should be:
Song: Path
[Split / Split / (T) Split / Split] : Final
Or something thereabouts. I need one split score for the phrase at the end of each OD activation, and any split scores for percussion notes signified with a (T). Ending percussions can be safely ignored (i.e. Ramblin' Man, Green Grass and High Tides, Red Tandy, that sort of thing) since the ending split score is the same as the final score. _________________

Wow, guys! This looks great! A few thoughts...
- I like the easy to read color scheme & layout, including the recently added space on the path line between the activation & squeeze points.
- The indent on the scores line is nice, but can we put the space between the songs back in? 'Course, that'll make the OP huge. I dunno...
- Path credit: If this is going to replace the other thread, we should probably include the pather's name on the path line.
- Squeeze credit: Suggest include each contributor, like with paths. I agree that the same person may not get all the optimal squeezes for a given song. (This may become an administrative nightmare while grinding new DLC.)
- Platform: Should we note if the current high is platform-specific vs Xplat? Admittedly, I don't always check all songs on all consoles (De-Luxe oops!) especially with the non-real-time LBs.
Please let us know if there's anything else we as contributors can do to make this easier for you to maintain!

Naw... I have 'em, but just didn't want to hog all the 'fun' songs in case someone else wanted to contribute. Thanks for jumping in and congrats on White Wedding. It seems so random, eh? |

I would prefer not to replace the paths thread. Sure we may be replacing the RB2 on disc path thread right now, but if this expands to DLC or expands to other segments I have no idea if we will include everything. When RB:Beatles comes out also I would probably prefer not to have both pathing and squeezing discussions in a single place since it could get overloaded, but maybe it would make sense to do it this way.
As for cross-console stuff, I would simply check 360 and ps3 leaderboards. PS2 can't count, and no offense to Wii, but it will be an extreme rarity just due to numbers of them being on here often. Do we even know if the De-Luxe squeeze that was hit is impossible on the 360, it's only been hit once on ps3, so it may just be that insane. (I hope this is the right song haha).
As for the added lines, I can add them in, and if it ever gets to be insanely long maybe we will take them out or decide on a new format or something.
Edit: Indestructible gave me another song or two, don't worry Icemage, I can convert them:
We Got The Beat: 000-996-012 (+4 possible on second squeeze)
Edit2: WGTB Done: 2/sk1-FRS (30000), AT (45000), 3/sk1(116996), 2/sk1 (154012) << final score too
Edit3: The Trees also by Indestructible: 2/(42400), AT/(78275), 3/(115087), (123087) _________________

I can get +224 pretty consistently on the first squeeze of De-Luxe on the Wii. I'll have to redo it sometime with the full 2nd squeeze though, cause when I was playing I was using 2/ 3/sk1 (the path that the Wiki says) which is the wrong path. _________________
