12/25/07 Merry Christmas! New DLC available!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday. The following new XBox 360 DLC songs have been added for score-tracking:

Dirty Little Secret (by All-American Rejects)
Move Along (by All-American Rejects)
Attack (by 30 Seconds to Mars)
The Kill (by 30 Seconds to Mars)
Song With a Mission (as made famous by The Sounds)

From my understanding, PS3 will be getting a double dose of DLC next week to catch up from Sony taking off this week.

I thought there was a group designed to keep this type of garbage out of this game. Flash in the pan, no talent acts weren't supposed to be in Rock Band. There goes the quality idea for this game.

Ironically I just got Rock Band today too

. Only band I don't like out of the 3 is 30 seconds to Mars, but I'll still check em out.

I like the fact that I'm getting DLC, and for 99 cents I think it's great. I listened to 30 Seconds to Mars when their first cd came out forever ago so these songs were cool to see. I didn't think any of the 5 songs were particularly awesome or anything. A few have pretty difficult expert drum parts. I'm sure people who want to sing would enjoy most of these songs.

A dissapointing group of DLC if you ask me....But of course that's my tastes. Thank god its only $1.

The Good (stuff I'd pay regular price for):
-The Kill (I like this song, but to tell you the truth, I'm not sure I know why...)

The Bearable (Stuff that I'll only consider getting because of the awesomely cheap price):
-Song With A Mission (There are a few shining moments in the song, but otherwise I don't like it much)
-Attack (See above)
-Move Along

The Bad (Songs that will never make it onto my 360. End of Story):
-Dirty Little Secret (Gah, I hate this song. It's my music tastes, no doubt, because my friend no doubt rushed out to get this song as soon as it went up [it's his ringtone....])

Actually, Move Along is slowly starting to grow on me.

It's probably because it kinda reminds me of music from the 80's when I was growing up... a bit of a nostalgia going on.
