Kinda self explanatory, but how many of you have played and FC'ed hard songs and can't FC this cause the the cymbal roll at the end?
I personaly still have never FC'ed this song yet JUST cause of that roll at the end
I guess in addition to complaining, does anyone have tips (if any) to offer? _________________

I think when I played it last, I tried to abuse the timing window as much as possible, I found just doing a steady rhythm with your right hand works.
I may be completely wrong though. |

Yeah, I play it like once a month thinking that this will be the run, but it hasn't lol
Too boring of a song to play all over again to try again. _________________

I FCd it for the first time a few weeks ago! I first played this song back in January 2008. _________________

The pattern is as random as you think. I have to look at the chart before I play it to refresh my memory, but I can it hit it 80%+ of the time.
The roll starts on 32nd second notes. Because the tempo is so slow though, these are still quite slow. I play 2.75 counts of these (23 hits to be precise) and treat the 23rd like a 16th note. Now, I'm on count 2 of m91, I play 6 notes in this beat (16th triplets if you will); NO DOWNBEAT. Then I just start using my eyes.
I have no idea if that helped at all, but that's what I do. _________________

Every time I've FCed this I've single-stroked everything with my left hand (I'm left-handed).
Also I think there's a bit of feel to hitting this and the less I think about it / the more blank I keep my thoughts, the more likely I combo it.
It's probably easier on BNS too. _________________

I use to never be able to hit it but recently I played it again and FC'd it. I forgot it was there but it helped that all I remembered was that something difficult to hit was coming up at the end.
I wonder what it would look like if every hit was charted. Probably something similar to that of the Ballroom Blitz or Sorrow rolls. _________________

I had to practice this a LOT in practice mode to get the end down. It really is quite random, but I found it helpful to break it up into several smaller patterns that were easier to memorize, but close enough to what is actually charted that the timing window will allow the variance (don't remember what they actually were, it's been a while). Make your pattern measure by measure if you can, so that it's easier to stay on beat. Once you've got your pattern down and memorized, just play the pattern from memory, focusing only on the measure lines so that you don't speed up or slow down too much -- know which hit should fall on beat 1, etc.
Takes far more time and patience than it should, but I finally decided to sit down and grind for it one day. Thank God my squeezes were optimal on that run. _________________

I FC'd it randomly one day shortly before RB2 came out, and I haven't played it (at least solo) since. _________________

some people may consider this cheating, but usually I use the buttons. I can get it about half the time with that >__> |

Woah, I never thought about that haha.
Which made me come to a realization, do you think fast rolls can be done if one person does a roll on the pad, and the other presses the button? o_0
Probably not, just a random thought. _________________
