So uhh, I just got these sort of drums with my PS2 bundle, purchased today, and the blue pad is entirely unresponsive.
I was a wee bit scared, but opened the pad up to see if I could do that penny trick, but am not really sure if it would help since I have a different type (I have no knowledge of electronics whatsoever :\).
Any suggestions/ideas that aren't sending them back? My friend might actually cry if I can't get the band together on the 26th.
Oh, forgot to mention, there was a pretty crazy amount of glue on the four connectors, if that's important.

Return the bundle, tell them your hardware was faulty, exchange for a new one? Worked for me, but it all depends on if the store will accept the exchange. _________________

Wow dude exact same thing happened to me except I have a 360. Blue pad is COMPLETELY unrespondive unless you hit it really hard lol. I'd say send it back by that 2 day air mail thing. _________________
