If you don't want people to call this crappy or to suggest other music then haven't you essentially just made a thread hoping people pat you on the back?
Sorry to be harsh, but whats the point... _________________

I'm just curious as to reception and comments. What would people change, etc. The setlist as it is is pretty much final, I just want to see what people think, or what they would have done. Sheer, morbid curiosity. I want your brutal, honest opinions about what you think. Without making this into a poll thread, if we can manage that. _________________

While it's not the greatest list i've ever seen, it's a good one for sure. _________________

Despite being great songs, I would remove Get Clean and Outside since they are two bonus songs out of 35. Replace them with Chop Suey and All the Small Things
Powerslave instead of 2 Minutes to Midnight
Flathead or Creepin' Up the Backstairs instead of Henrietta
Afterlife instead of Almost Easy
Under the Bridge instead of Breaking the Girl
Down with the Sickness instead of Round and Round
Move Along instead of Alex Chilton
Wonderwall instead of Orange Crush
That's just me personally. I know I added a couple of poppy songs on there, but they are some of RB's biggest hits for sure. Great list otherwise. _________________

Good luck with this staying unlocked long enough for you to get a bit of feedback mate, I have a feeling it won't last indefinitely
Anyway, out of the 35 songs, 20 I would listen to repeatedly and only three would be skipped. That's pretty much the same ratio as with most compilation albums I have, so I figure that must be good
Seeing as you're curious, the three I would always skip are Electric Version, I'm So Sick and Testify. I imagine I'd replace them with The Shins' New Slang, Jimmy Eat World's Sweetness and Thin Lizzie's The Boys Are Back In Town which would kinda keep the amount of each genre steady.
There's a couple artists which I'd keep but change the songs on as well:
Offspring- The Kids Aren't Alright
Chili Peppers- I Could Have Lied
Judas Priest- (Take These) Chains
Coheed- A Favor House Atlantic
Black Tide- Warriors of Time
Rush- Limelight
Iron Maiden- Run To The Hills
I'd also normally change Won't Get Fooled Again for Real Good Looking Boy, but I think you're right to have that as the finale for the compilation (that's assuming that is your final track on one of the discs, anyway- my other disc's outro would be Bodhisattva, and for the two disc's intros I'd pick Foreplay and Highway Star).
You made really good picks with Alex Chilton, (Don't Fear) The Reaper, Everlong, Saints of Los Angeles and Sorrow I'd expect them to be included on a compilation like this in most people's picks haha. Somewhat surprised that you didn't choose Don't Stop Believing however! _________________

Unless you are a volcanic robot from space or a chicken with robotic giblets, don't compare yourself to those folk. Each accomplishment is an accomplishment, no matter what people before you did. |

To make a "best of" CD really implies that you have the most widely known/popular songs from the game, and a lot of those picks look more like personal favorites than best of.
I'm not going to completely re-write the list, but IMO this isn't a "best of" rock band compilation. |

What I would remove:
Main Offender
I'm So Sick
Almost Easy
Round and Round
What I would change:
Alive = Jeremy? Even Flow?
2 Minutes = Fear of the Dark? Aces High?
Breaking The Girl = Under The Bridge? Tell Me Baby?
What I would add:
Aqualung
Another HMX Band. Perhaps Time We Had, Jagged Gorgeous Winter? Something in that vein? _________________

I reallly, really don't like afterlife. There's something about it when the main riff kicks in that I actually turn it off, because it's just so...terrible.
Almost Easy, I do like that. Good stuff.
Anyway, good list, but here's how I'd change some of the songs.
The Fratellic - Henrietta to Creepin' Up The Backstairs
Bad Religion - Sorrow to 21st Century (Digital Boy)
Pearl Jam - Alive to State of Love and Trust (Live: Drop In The Park)
The Offspring - All I Want to Self Esteem
Steely Dan - Bodhisattva to My Old School
Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock to Siva
Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight to Can I Play With Madness _________________
