Rock Band 3 needs a gig creator. Once you become big enough, you should be able to create your own touring gig set.

I would love some Meshuggah. Anything really, but if albums were an option (and why not in a wishlist thread) I would kill for Destroy Erase Improve or Nothing.
In Flames and Dark Tranquility would be nice as well. Would be hard to select packs, but I would be very happy with a 3- or 6-pack of each.
I wish we had some more technical metal as well... seems that while much of the available metal is 'difficult' it's not really over the top for the most part. I wish we had a few more crazy songs on there. For instance, I'm not a big fan of death metal, but it would fit in this category (crazy on everything except vocals)... and I do like me some Nile.
I would love some punk too... Dinosaurs Must Die by NOFX still seems perfect to me for RB. Pennywise (Bro Hymn (Live) for some epic vocals and crowd sing-a-long?), Dropkick Murphys (queue awkward strumming and more awesome sing-a-longs) and especially Rancid. "And Out Come the Wolves" please.
And Weird Al? Party at the Leper Colony, Hardware Store, and maybe one of his polkas would be a lot of fun.
Classic rock I would like more of... Queen. Anything by Queen just about.
As for game features... vocal backups/harmonizing would be awesome. It would also be nice to be logged in as both a guitar and microphone at the same time even if they don't allow the backup singing. Voxtar/Voxdrum achievements!
I also wish performance mode for vocals had an option to play sheet music instead of the normal pitch lines so it would be a bit clearer to hit for those that have that training or background. Would look cool too.

I like this idea. In addition, I'd propose a feature where if you do well enough in a set, you can pick an encore on the fly to play at that same gig, and then instead of simply being "another song" in terms of how much money you get for the gig, instead it gives you some kind of bonus based on both how difficult the encore was and how well you played it. |
