What bonehead decided that the organ solo in "She's Not There" shouldn't be charted? |

I grabbed everything but "Tell Her No" which I'm not a fan of:
Ministry is quite tough on the guitar - not a single GS sightread for me, and The Great Satan I only got on my third attempt. The songs are pretty fun - I'm looking forward to trying them out on drums but have to get back to work for now, so will probably only get to try it out later this evening. These Ministry songs are all fun to play on guitar - I'd say grab it if you enjoyed the "Prong" songs, since they're definitely in the same ballpark. The Great Satan's solo is scary fast
I tried the other two songs (Linger, and She's Not There) on vox only, and both were fun - i think that the Cranberries song is WAY undertiered on vox, since I'm fairly familiar with the song, and only got a midrange 4 * on my sightread (although I'm not that great a vocalist, but still - tier 1 my fat hairy aunt). She's Not There was fun, but looks pretty simple on everything - still - great song. |

Why should it be charted in the first place?
Last I remember, SH and every other forum threw a hissy fit the last time an organ solo was charted. |

Because the song is boring as hell on Guitar without charting it? This is a song, like Smokin', that needs that part charted to make it more varied and fun. |

For the Zombies, they got them from the top ten singles; both songs were in the top ten when they first came out in the US circa the Sixties. "She's Not There" was their debut and reached #2 in the US, and "Tell Her No" was not far behind (I believe it was a #6 single). For the Cranberries, the same is true; it was a rather popular song in the Nineties and peaked on the charts at #8. Ministry is a long-running industrial metal group with over ten albums to their credit who have been active since 1981, and the single "LiesLiesLies" featured in the DLC pack was nominated for a Grammy the year of its release.
Basically, if you don't know where these songs are coming from, it's more a reflection upon you and your lack of musical knowledge outside your own little insulated tastes.
With that being said, bass charts.
- The Cranberries "Linger" (HD format)
- Ministry "Cuz U R Next" (HD format)
- Ministry "LiesLiesLies" (HD format)
- Ministry "The Great Satan" (HD format)
- The Zombies "She's Not There" (HD format)
- The Zombies "Tell Her No" (HD format)
Edit: Also,

The very first post in this thread says "The Wii tracks are supposedly not up yet and will be up tomorrow or Thursday." This is according to a post made by HMXSean on the official forums. I'd believe it, personally, but I don't have access to a Wii to doublecheck. _________________

The Ministry songs easily take the prize of best download of the week for guitarists. I'm absolutely petrified of The Great Satan's solo. _________________

Im tired of metal drumming when not all the bass notes are charted. Every chart becomes the same pattern at different tempi. Bass on every down beat, or a quater note triplet, snare on 2 and 4, occasional fill that is pretty easy if you know what you are doing, and then a break down for 8 -16 measures and back to the same thing.
Sorry for complaining but its bad when the best drum songs in like a month are alien ant farm and taking back sunday. _________________

I was looking forward to watching the guitar charts on Npeaen's channel, but I just found out his channel got suspended =(. I'll check out the charts later but I'm still pissed about his channel. Idk if it was permanent or anything, but right now when I try to go to his channel, it says he got suspended _________________

Cuz U R Next and The Great Satan both get a massive WTF - the former for overall difficulty (luckily I took my sightread in practice mode, I got 74%) and the latter for what surely has to be the most unreadable solo since Constant Motion. _________________
