So much Yay in My Old School.
Too bad they don't have a button or technique in the game to play all the finger pinching and other little subtleties that make those solos so tough to duplicate exactly.
Next up - Reelin in the years just because it is so classic. _________________

Yeah, that confused me too. I hope they fix that.
EDIT: Okay, the error only happens in the Music Store. Once you download the song, it says it's from Ten Thousand Fists and shows the right album art. Odd. |

There was a bug and they couldn't release it this week. They said they will try to release it as soon as they can (hopefully just add it to next week's DLC).

According to the vocal chart, he's saying "Awk!", but it certainly sounds like there's an f in there.
Anyway, I watched the videos (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=corporalgregg2&view=videos has full band videos), and am I missing something, or is My Old School seriously overtiered? It looks like it's tier 5 or maybe even debatably tier 4, but definitely not tier 6. There was a time at least had a part that looked like a tier 6 song, even if it was short enough it probably didn't deserve it. But I saw nothing in My Old School that looked even remotely tier 6.
Despite that, the Steely Dan songs look like a lot of fun on guitar, but that was the only thing that stood out to me from watching the videos. Disturbed looks mildly fun but not too exciting if you're not a fan of the music, and the only thing that really looked like it could be good on drums was Radio, Radio, but that didn't look spectacular, just reasonably fun.

I support this "pretending it's another word" style of censorship. |

I'd be a fan of that. But really, it doesn't sound like he's saying "fuck". I've never heard the uncensored version of the song though, but I would assume the word is more understandable there? It totally sounds like "awk" to me _________________

I only got the Social Distortion pack, and like a few other songs, Story of my Life is another one of those "Better for full band games than solo instrument games" songs. The guitar part still isn't anything amazing but dang is the song fun to sing.
Also, Ring of Fire is made of several kinds of win. |
