Yay! Boo for the new stuff not being on Wii though.
FYI, Npeaen is putting up guitar vids now http://www.youtube.com/user/Npeaen
and S1ckH4nds is doing bass http://www.youtube.com/user/S1ckH4ndsBass
(links are their youtube channels, so you may need to dig a little to find this week's stuff, but Im too lazy to post the url for every song)
well I'll post one for reference: Idealistic Types by Prong, played by Npeaen. People had been saying this sounds kinda like Thrasher, so my impression is that the strumming looks a little slower, but there's still a whole lot of it so probably a pretty tough song to FC, plus the solo which is not too ridiculous but not easy. _________________

What the hell. Wii DLC = WOW
BYOB, ATR. What's next week? Roadrunner?
Just as I run out of Wii Points, I still have to get the rest of Peace Sells.
Epic win + fail.
Note that we have to buy each song 1 by 1, and we can't buy packs or albums. |

So they used an entirely different cut of Lucid Dreams. Sounds like it's actually the album version with the ending cut out. Luckily, the drums are still kick-awesome and they did some fancy editing to get the guitar solo in.
The guitar chart was kinda awkward to play though, because I've never even heard that guitar when listening to the song. I thought the verses would just be blank, but I'm glad they're not.
And the ending of Do You Want To is effing ruined. =/ _________________

Got the Franz pack and Smooth Criminal. On guitar they're all fun, though nothing that's really challenging.
On vocals the Franz pack is alright, though Lucid Dreams kicked my ass since I'd never heard the song before. As for Smooth Criminal... God damn talkies. |

Picked up The Banishment and Smooth Criminal so far, haven't drummed either one but I did play guitar and bass on both and the bass on The Banishment was a definite surprise, a lot of variety I wasn't expecting. Almost all the choruses are played differently. |

The big "YEAH!" at the end has been inexplicably replaced with an incredibly lame, half-hearted "yeah" that I don't think is even in the master track.
Just listen. _________________

Well it's going to take a while before I understand the drums in the guitar solo section on Smooth Criminal. Really fun beat though. |
