http://www.bandnamemaker.com/

Maybe try this for a few minutes and see if there's anything good.

Old Update:
Deciding our Future:
With Xero having a busy summer work schedule being mostly unable to play the Harmonix Pawns face a cross-roads. We can either continue playing as just a 3-person band, and with Xero if he can ever play again. Or search for a new dlc whore bassist and start all over again with a new band. We'll probably end up doing both at least for a little while, and decide later if we can find a consistent new member.

Great first session that culminated in a crazy Guitar FC of Ride the Lightning, giving us a second place score on all the consoles (first place is a FBFC ) We just have to think of a name before I can initiate the team requests.

Edit: For the name for our band I only really have two crappy ideas atm. The Voluntary Downloads (play on my previous bands name, though we are still dlc whores, so there are some songs we buy that we don't like) or The Empty Wallet Brigade.

I played around with the band name maker, did some acronyms, total random names, and stuff with specific words. There's some good stuff and some hilariously bad stuff. Check them out:

Binge Of Dlc, Droopy Labia Consultant, Dirty Lab Collision, DLC Whores Complex, Downloads Of Hostility, Blind Downloads, Concern Of The Cock Corridor, Automatic Downloads, Consolidated Downloads, The Noise-aholics, Harmonix Pawn, Plastic Music Enterprise, Plastic Music Experience, Blunt Plastic Instruments, The Rock Invasion, The Dlc Experiment, Basic Math Dlc

I want a band to call themselves The Onomatopoeias

(although Concern of the Cock Corridor is classic)

I like Blunt Plastic Instruments, I don't know why.

Also, HMX Pawns

But I'm open to whatever.

I like Blunt Plastic Instruments too, though I must say that anytime I think about the names Droopy Labia Consultant or Concerns Of The Cock Corridor I seriously laugh out loud... I actually just lol'd reading my message back...

Edit: I didn't feel like posting again, but Harmonix Pawns is an interesting one, because of it's double meaning. I did do the Math one for you Twisted And the Noise-aholics is one I came up with myself, but it's a pretty obscure reference: Chuck Palahniuck's Lullaby. Killer Bunnies and Holy Hand Grenades do have a certain ring to them though.

Coming up with a band name is hard...

Basic Math dlc....

I could go for Killer Rabbits or Holy Hand Grenades if we're still doing the Monty Python thing.

Harmonix Pawns grabs my eye too. There's a slight pun and wit to that name.

So it looks like we are the "Harmonix Pawns", I'll initiate the band requests. The incoming request should show up here: http://rockband.scorehero.com/teams.php

I'm going to have to change my sig, I'll miss the old ID banner.

Just popping in to point out that I love the name, even if references to Gutsman's ass are sadly absent from it.

Lol, The Haunted is one screwed up book

I'll be gone all weekend, and I'm not sure if the hotel will have free internet or not, but I will be able to play Tuesday night. So if Xero's schedule is similar to last week and Twisted&Magna can play shall we try for a tuesday session?

God we should totally take 1st on RtL. And we're first on most of the songs we played.

2nd on Don't Stop Believin'. We need to rectify that one as well.

Uh, so I'll try to get my schedule posted soon, hopefully, Tuesday should be a go. I'll let you know if it ain't.

I'm excited.

Ok, Tuesday should be good stuff. We can play REO/Styx!

Uh, schedule is:

s 5-11
m 6-11
t off
w 5-11
t 5-10
f off
s off

I have karate with the kids tonight. I should be on from 6 pm to about 8 pm EST, then again late night after karate. Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually bad for me.

Sorry that tonight sucks for you but I can be on from 6 to 8 EST and late night if we still want to do this.

Scores are in, great one hour session guys. Sorry I didn't check SH earlier, or I could have waited to eat supper and we would have had two hours to play. 4 FBFC's almost in a row and at least 2 we can definitely get later, not bad at all.
