Rock Band Night at Angels and Kings (Dec. 17th, 9pm-12am)

This Monday, Rock Band, the latest game from Harmonix Music Systems and MTV Games, takes Manhattan by storm. I'll be rocking out hosting a Rock Band Night at Angels and Kings, a truly amazing bar, and I would love to see you there.

Rock Band, if you haven't seen it, is the latest video game for XBox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2. Using a guitar controller, a drum set controller or a microphone controller, up to 4 people can play along with their favorite Rock Songs. Essentially, it's like full band karaoke. Karaoke on steroids. Really good steroids. The kind that will get you randomly tested in Major League Baseball. But instead of baseball, it's rock and roll. Or something.

To be clear, we'll be throwing down from 9-12 at Angels and Kings this coming monday, December 17th. You can come play the game with your friends onstage and have some great drinks at a great bar. If you rock the hardest, your band could win a free copy of Rock Band (the PERFECT gift leading up to the ever imminent Holiday Season!)

Wouldve been fun sounds like a qwell planned event unlike most events i go to ...
