So, surprisingly fun instrument of the week goes to guitar on Shining Star. Awesome solo, repetitive but not boring verse riff, and majorly finger-twisting chorus riff all add up to a pretty fun chart. Last Resort is actually tiered higher, but with the exception of a fast strumming part near the end that I wasn't prepared for, I FCed the thing on sightread. _________________

The week won me merely by including the intro speech in Sex Machine.
Gold Star sightread on vox. That thing has a ton of phrases. _________________

Thrash Unreal sounds weird without the Backup Guitar.
Whatever it's still freaking awesome. |

I just checked out Last Resort, and it's pretty disappointing.
it sounds like either a demo or live version, it's pretty bad. _________________

I can purchase only two out of the five singles.
Which ones would you recommend? _________________

Sex Machine is absolute win on vocals, for the intro alone. Seriously, I cracked up seeing my lead singer start talking like James Brown. Then when I actually did it on vocals myself it was awesome, all the talkies are just so much fun.
The rest of the Funk pack was good too, but Sex Machine wins. I'm still undecided about which singles to get though. |
