Yea it was discovered when the song first came out I believe.
What I remember it being was a drum pad sustain charted in the song. _________________

There's a bug which makes the game treat one of the notes as a sustain. You can get ticks from it, but only if you hit it late (so it automagically gives you ticks from the first part of the "sustain" you missed, since drums don't recognise physical sustains). Very odd. _________________

Was just the first two, decided to do Saturdays as well. | Serious advice now: No-one likes indecision in their work, so find what you like that you're even remotely good at, and stick with it. Don't flit from one thing to another, because that just smacks of a large lack of determination and drive. And people don't like you for that, and won't remember you for it. I mean, I get that you have a plucky spirit and a willingness to try new things, but there's a limit, man. | I might knock it down to just Thursday and Friday. |

The above posters are correct there is a hold. You can see it on ajanta's charts. However, I believe the hold note is covered up by a fill in the optimal path which is why the top scores end in 75. |

Measure number? I've heard of this legendary hold drum note, but I've never actually seen it on a chart (or in game). _________________

Here's a chart ajanata generated to figure out what was going on (this is using the guitar method for a drum chart, so the colors are all wrong).
The sustain is in measure 60: http://ajanata.com/charts/temp/chinacat_drums_wtf.png _________________
