Rise Against is coming this Thursday, unless you are trying to say you're not interested in Rise Against.

I was loading the Richard Thompson track as my cab pulled up, so no comments on that yet. :p |

I just bought All I Want and sightread 5*'d it on guitar, but it's a little challenging, I wouldn't believe anyone who says they can sightread FC that song.
Was ...And Justice For All previously released for Wii? There's only 2 this week. _________________

I am glad for more Offspring. One of my favorite bands growing up. But I fear after all the Offspring we have gotten, we won't be seeing Offspring again for a long while. Sorta like The Clash. And I really wanted Nitro! |

For anybody who cares to know, All I Want on drums can be thought of in two ways. At least the chorus. The verse are like a sped up excuse me mr. Not that hard.
1) take the hard part of Blackened on drums, make it more complex but slow it down a notch.
2) put hammerhead and Sorrow in a room with some mood lighting and romantic music, and 9 months later steal the resulting baby and immediately shoot it out of a rocket.
Losing my Religion is a great song, but horrendously dull on drums. The Kids Aren't Alright is fine, perfectly fun but borders on repetitive. And for some reason I only hit that repeating snare fill once on sightread.
The Way That It Shows... what can I say. Obviously the second half is great. Slow on drums, but with plenty of variation and a decent amount of fun. only missed in the fast roll. The first half, well it's dead on drums, and I have every right to hate the vocals, since good lord he's an awful singer, but for some reason I'm actually growing to like it. The choruses may be offkey and frankly walrus like, but they're... dare I say, catchy?
i don't know, maybe I'm just having a weird musical version of stockholm syndrome.
Either way, I approve of this song. |
