This. It's soooo humbling to play through a song and have everyone else get 100%, except for me. Granted, I'm a firm believer (and I think many would agree) that FCing something on drums is much much harder than on other instruments.

Absolutely. My % is usually 98 or 99% on bass, but I should be FCing most of these songs on Bass. Though I will say that in many of the earlier tier songs (heck, maybe 70% of the songs as a whole!), bass is harder than guitar!

Anyway, a band is held back by their worst player so it is really the bad players that need to improve, not the greatest players that need to improve even more.

So are we doing this in traditional rivalry style? Aka, pick a song, give a deadline to complete, post scores, winners are declared, e-peen grows?

I think rather than picking individual songs, perhaps do a tier at a time since it's much harder to get 4 people together, and when they're together, why not just bang em all out?

And we also need to set rules like:

Is each band awarded by how they place on a song compared to the others? For example, per song, first place gets 3 points, second 2, and third 1? Or is it a total of all songs in that tier (or songs picked if the tier idea doesn't work out?)?

i don't think it should be a "pick a song/tier and enter scores". each band should play at whatever time is convenient for them, and put their scores up, and each band tries to have the top score on each song. Maybe have someone post with the top score for each song and which band holds it?

Yeah man... that 3000+ streak is insane. I'll get it one of these days! My bass drum pedal is so finicky sometimes, and I'll usually break combo when I don't mean to. After work today, I'm going to pick up a bass drum practice pad and use one of my spare REAL pedals to mod it like this:
