My only concern is that it just won't be very difficult on guitar or drums. I fear the game will be FC'd in a matter of days.
Of course, I'm still going to get it. _________________

So Fall 09 has this as the rhythm game battle
An entire Beatles game versus GHWT2?
And Fall 08 was
RB2 versus GHWT
...Now I long for yesterday. |

Am I the only one not in the slightest excited about this.
I don't like the Beatles and I can't see there being any challenge for any instrument or even Vox. |

Pretty sure this game is going to be fun on vocals :P
also:
Seriously this concept of everything being DLC/Exportable is really starting to annoy me. This isn't an AC/DC track pack. This is going to be an all encompassing Beatles extravaganza
Picture (yourself on a boat in the river) Guitar Hero: Aerosmith but you know- replay value

If I have a Rock Band party with the Beatles pack, people are 10x more likely to come. Get it for your friends who are causal gamers. |

Not very excited over this game. I think a 10 pack of DLC would have been enough Beatles for me.
I still might get the bundle if the instruments look cool enough.
Its kinda funny that they put Rock Band in the title after all the talk of this game not being a Rock Band title. |

The fact that it's coming out later this year pretty much guarantees I won't be picking it up until next year since I won't have much time when I go back to college. Then again, maybe I wasn't THAT interested, but it sounds like a cool experience that I'd at least like to play through once. |

Same boat. While I can appreciate what they did to change the face of music, and Lennon is probably one of the top 3 best songwriters ever, I just never really got into them and find their music quite boring. Unless you're a fan of the Beatles, I don't really see this game providing much enjoyment. |

Ok, I'm part of the school of don't knock till you tried it, so that's what I'm going to suggest to you guys.
While I agree that the no-export is a very poor choice I have to disagree with the opinion that level of difficulty = fun.
The real equation is level of difficulty =/= fun, but rather fun songs = fun. There are a ton of songs below the nightmare difficulty that are an absolute blast to play, and if HMX is making this a standalone title then I would count on them spending a lot of time on the charts and making them fun.
And who knows, you may find yourself pleasently surpirsed by a song's difficulty. |
