If they had asked me to choose three songs for their Fratellis pack, those would've been the exact ones I would've chosen. I'm very happy right now.

For those who don't know The Fratellis, (Pronounced Fruh-tell-ees, same as the villains from 'The Goonies') the song Flathead was on an iPod commercial about 2 years ago. I am going to go ahead and say this is one of the most highly catchy non-mainstream music I have ever heard. This pack is good all around.
I suggest all of them. In fact I suggest just buying this album from iTunes or however you buy music, if you have the chance.
Voxtar = Amazing.
Drums = So much fun.
Bass = Difficult in a fun way.

Locksley was catchy guitar-y pop rock that was totally unknown.

The Fratellis are catchy, guitar-y pop rock that's moderately known.

So, based on catchy, guitar-y pop rock packs from bands that are becoming increasingly well known, this bodes well for a...

Franz Ferdinand Pack 01!!!!

...I hope.

Anyways, Fratellis pack looks fantastic, will definately download when I get to my xbox.

Also, it's obvious that the Fratellis pack is released (on 360/ps3) the same day as Moving Pictures (on wii), and the pack is most similar to the Locksley pack, which was released /instead/ of moving pictures on the 360/ps3 when it originally came out.

Funny coincidence, huh?

...I see what you did there...

Finally got around to playing 'em on guitar/bass.

Not my kind of songs on guitar -- the way the strumming jumped all over lead to me passing them but breaking my multiplier over and over. Bass was very, very fun.

Thank you! That's been bugging me so much.

From the minute I heard it, I knew that melody was in something else, and in all likelihood this is exactly what I recognize it from.

Anyway, wow, this is the most unexpectedly fun DLC ever. I was expecting all tier 1-2 chordfests, but they're all tiered higher and actually harder than the game suggests, in my opinion. Up-tempo, tricky rhythms, and twisty single note picking sections -- that Flathead solo was borderline exhilarating on sightread. Basically unlike any other section in the game; I was hanging on for dear life, but alas, I ended up missing one note there.

Henrietta's the most straightforward on guitar, but it keeps it interesting with 3 note chords and a couple bursts of fast strumming -- somewhat tough, but nothing too frustrating.

Haven't seen other charts yet, but I know they must be fun on everything else. Definitely recommended -- really crisp, lively, catchy songs that keep you on your toes.

Haha, The Fratellis are nothing even remotely similar to ska.

Actually not counting No Doubt (which you really shouldn't) there's only been one song that's actually SKA in Rockband.

This pack is all kinds of awesome, don't skip it just because you've never heard of the band.

yeah, they are a glasgow band. they actually changed their surnames to "fratelli" for some reason i am unaware of.

Cracking band, i would have loved "Cuntry [sic] Boys & City Girls", for the lyrics more than anything

I don't think I'm going to pick the Fratellis pack up, I have little money and they just look like chord-fests with wierd chord changes and more off-beat of a rhythym than Rush stuff (I play X-Guitar), that's just my opinion. Overall, the songs sound pretty good, but look aggrevating to play. BTW, sorry if my criticism has offended anyone.
