The Boys are Back in Town is pure classic-rock win on guitar and drums. I'm so glad they finally got that in. _________________

Wasn't going to bother with this week, but I did and i'm glad I did.
TL Pack: Cowboy song - beautiful intro, nice solos, fantastic sounding song, loved it so much I played it back to back! All 3 songs are great but this one stood out, for me.
HMWYBS is still fun, BRE is a bit strange - doesn't really seem to fit, but still a good song.
Didn't bother with the other 80pt tracks _________________

Ummm... it's them... live. Not a cover. Wow. |

Agh I'm tired of GH songs being released in Rockband. |
yeah they sound close enough |
Probably because they are performed by the actual band. >_>
And the rest of the songs are fun on drums as well. Good week for drummers. |
Some live versions do not sound the same as studio versions as the band stretches them out. The question wasn't as dumb as you guys made it seem. |

dude what the hell? He was asking if the live versions sounded like the studio versions. Some of you guys seem to be looking for shit that you can correct. |

but if you have GHIII and played the song to death there, there isn't much new here to see on guitar.

I'm not a big fan of Thin Lizzy, but I know he's really good. I have enough money for one of his songs, which one is the funnest on Guitar and sounds really good? _________________

After playing Boys are Back in Town on Bass, I have to ask: does that chart remind anyone of Rob the Prez-O-Dent on guitar? It sure does me. _________________

Cowboy Song. (Also, like Jethro Tull and Steely Dan, Thin Lizzy is not the name of a member of the band.)
Also, I truly misinterpreted that post, but now, re-reading it, I have no clue how I did. _________________

As soon as I have any money at all I'm getting me that Lizzy pack. Some people have been griping about the Jailbreak version they used, but I like it. The solos look awesome. And Cowboy Song is awesome, I'm so glad they picked that as the third song. And The Boys are Back speaks for itself. _________________

Is it an actual blue solo? Wouldn't that be the first bass "solo"?
Definitely downloading the entire Thin Lizzy pack. They look so fun. I suppose I'll push aside prejudice and listen to those Nickelodeon songs. >.> |

Thin Lizzy is more than 1 dude, it's a band. If your really forced to only buy one song for guitar, make it Cowboy Song. It has some slow moments but also 2 killer solos.
I hope others will buy the whole pack instead of just The Boys are Back in Town. I know it brings back memories from when you were cool, and you must do what the radio box tells you, but just this once, take a chance and buy some songs you haven't heard from your favorite top 40 station (whatever year you were listening to that) you will not be dissapointed (unless your super anal about production quality, or hate when singers take liberties with their own songs and sing them slightly differently than the album version). |
