Thin Lizzy 3 Pack Coming

I have no official announcement, but live on his show Eddie Trunk was talking about how there is a new live Thin Lizzy CD coming out soon and mentioned three songs from that album available for Rock Band.

I'm very excited for this, as Lizzy influenced all my favorite bands, from GNR to Iron Maiden. I'd love to see Bad Reputation make a return for the drums, and of course Jailbreak would be an epic. Thoughts or hopes on this one?

Ooh, I hope so. I really loved Bad Reputation. I'd love to play it again.

And this was talking about a Live CD, and they said songs from that album. Does that mean that we would get the live tracks?

I'm going to assume, if these songs were played, the pack would be Bad Reputation, The Boys Are Back In Town, and Jailbreak.

Also, if said songs were included, we would have another double with Bad Reputation.

ThinLizzy.org has three songs listed from the upcoming album titled "Still Dangerous: Live At The Tower Theatre Philadelphia 1977":

Apparently the album utilizes recordings from Thin Lizzy's 1977 "Bad Reputation" Tour. The article mentions nothing about Rock Band tracks though. The album will be released in March.

On a somewhat related note, I wouldn't be surprised to see Thin Lizzy in Guitar Hero: Metallica as Cliff Burton was a big Thin Lizzy fan. Undoubtedly, the Metallica cover of the traditional "Whiskey in the Jar" was likely influenced by the Thin Lizzy version.

Nice, I love The Boys Are Back in Town. Its a classic. And live versions are just as good, if not better, as long as they bare mixed well. Considering that the AC/DC and Who live tracks are some of the best songs in the whole game, I have faith in these.

Also, since Guitar Hero II is my favorite game of all time, any songs from it are a plus. With that said, I never thought Bad Reputation was that great as far as playing or as a song. It was pretty much on the same level to me as Tattooed Love Boys and Can't You Hear Me Knockin': It didn't stand out. I will still buy this whole pack though.
