Yeah, I was really thinking the Wii music store would go live with the DLC update today. If it doesn't, I'll be pretty bummed.

I wasn't expecting much from the Christmas tunes but they were pretty fun. And cheap. Great pack.

The Holidays pack is real fun, but Blue Christmas just makes me sad. I was doing fine, then suddenly:

ONE, TWO, THREE!

Cue me only getting a four star. Memories of Tatooed Love Boys suddenly come back. Damn you Pretenders!

The Foos pack is dead simple but great fun.

The holiday pack holds a surprisingly amount of fun on expert guitar. They aren't difficult, but they're REALLY fun to play. Which are my favorite kind of songs, really. When songs get TOO hard, they just become work to me.

The Foo pack offers up more variety than you'd think, too. Simple at times, sure, but they aren't just repetitive chordfests. Chordfests, yes, but chordfests with variety in the chords.

So, in other words, they're Foo Fighters songs?

I have a running joke with my friend about Foo Fighter songs stemming from the GH3 download pack -- at this point I had not broken 500,000 on any song, and I did with each of the three FF songs. I just considered it a de facto standard that Foo Fighters songs would go that way. Granted, Learn to Fly didn't, but Everlong kept up the trend, as doubling the score to match GH's would-be score, I can easily get 500k (250k) there. I know there's Color and Shape out now, but I don't think I'll be able to ditch this mentality.

Good to hear the holidays songs are decent, fun plays. I've heard Blue Christmas before, but not the other two. Think we'll ever see some TSO for a holiday release, considering that's nearly all they do? (Yeah, I know, rarely a decent instrumental song that isn't purely an instrumental.)

The Christmas songs are not my cup of tea, but hurray for the Foo Fighters!

The Foo fighters pack is very fun on drums. The Foo is such a solid rock band, band.
