im only excited for this game because of peace sells and the quieter drumsets. i might be one of a kind when it comes to that, but thats my opinion
and hopefully i never have to play one of these chords in my life _________________

i got it yesterday, about halfway through the career. apparently ps2 users (like me) can do the Endless Setlist 2 O_o. that should be fun....
as long as you don't care about graphics, or making a character, it's worth it. |

Rice is great when you're hungry and you want 2,000 of something.

If you can't create a character in the PS2 version, can you at least choose one of the pre-made characters to play as, or is it still pre-rendered FMVs like RB1 PS2/Wii? |

you just go in and select your intrument. and then hit start, and go to venues, you can switch between the number of people in your band, and if you want to go from drums to guitar by yourself. it's cool and way more fun than a yellow sheet of paper.
also this is worded terribly, hope you got the jist of it |

They did not fix practice mode. Seriously. | It's because they can't. The PS2 doesn't have the processing power to change speed on the fly. On the other platforms they can dynamically adjust the speed. On PS2 they have to insert a second copy of every song preprocessed at 70% speed.
That's my guess anyway.
If you're referring to being unable to choose a section at 100% speed, I have no idea why they don't support that. |

I'm wondering if the DLC will be released on Tuesday. If you guys haven't noticed yet, there is a challenge that you can play that is called "The Wii Prerelease Challenge" and when you click on it it says 'Congratulations somehow you managed to get RB2 early (BLAH BLAH BLAH)'.
Anyway, I'm guessing the official release is on Tuesday and that's when the DLC will be thrown up.

Just for sake of saying it (I don't care about practice mode [I am using drums for this argument], and I use drum/fill trainer for practice), drum/fill trainer can change BPM on the fly (well, you restart from the beginning, but close enough to "on the fly"), and there isn't a problem. My guess for the choose a section at 100% speed is that they didn't want a GH3 "start 30 seconds before your section" type thing. _________________

Up here in Canada, FutureShop and EBGames say the release is Monday the 22nd. |

More people have to upload their guitar scores. I'm in first overall, and that just should not happen. XD _________________
