Impressive. Only a couple of tougher FCs than that one. _________________

Nicely done....huwonk and I are about to take this on in our rivalry..I know those talky parts always kill my FC. What did you set your mic sensitivity to for help?
..and I hear you on the difference between singing for fun and singing for points. While going through to get my 'big in city' achievements, I have been playing hard guitar/hard vocals..and I just pay attention to the guitar and actually sing the song without paying attention (except for occasions where I forget the words). However, when singing for 'points' I've learned to stop focusing on the words and just focus on pitch...which kinda sucks because it takes the fun out of singing....so yea..we both probably sound lame when singing for points. _________________

I've currently got it two clicks up from being bottomed out, and everything seems to be picking up better.
I gold starred Epic, too! |

How close do you keep the mic to your mouth? I usually keep about 2-3 inches distance unless I'm doing a vocal solo (aka, I just owned that keyboard/guitar/scratch solo with my rad vox). I haven't touched the sensitivity at all... Maybe I need to. I have found that talkie parts are much easier if you keep your mouth further from the mic (less distortion, I guess) which is probably about the same as turning the sensitivity down. _________________

I'm usually 3-5 inches away, unless I'm singing something way down low (like the beginning of Reptillia, or if I'm singing "Get on my knees and pray" an octave down in Won't Get Fooled Again), and then it's right up on my face. |

Awesome FC, Cowshark
Also, I currently have mic sensitivity set to 1 below maxed out - this helps for the pitch sections, but I can't hold a combo in talky sections for shit ;(
Maybe I'll try lowering it significantly, and see how it goes. |

Because a dude passed me on the leaderboards (you don't sing for ONE weekend and dudes just blow right on by?!), I thought I'd try cleaning up my scores (very against the spirit of my original post, since I am now ratcheting up my scores 4000 points at a time).
BUT-
But I just FC'd Epic like a badass, and I wanted to share that with everybody. |

I know what you mean. I was sitting in 14th on Saturday night, took Sunday night off and hung out with Draktyr (very cool guy, BTW), I look tonight and I'm 20th.
Congrats on the Epic FC. I mentioned earlier that there weren't many harder FCs than Highway Star? That's one of em. _________________

How the FUCXK do you FC Epic?
I can still barely 4* it - it seems any song with talky bits is an instant combo breaker for me - stupid frigging accent
EDIT : Forgot toi congratulate you on an insane accomplishment :P |

Millionses and millionses of points! Talking continues to be going better!
Still having problems with...
"Ow" in Next to You
"Whoa Yeah" in Train Kept a Rollin'
"Belisha Beacon" in My Iron Lung
"Let's Take it Easy, Easy Now, Watch it Go" in When You Were Young
"She Could Kill You With a Wink of Her Eye" in Ballroom Blitz |

Awesome job on 11 mil! Who would have thought that in singing game, the talking would be the hardest part. _________________

You got that right! I finally just 5 starred Sabotage to get all my 5 stars. Now I'm going through refining everything, but I don't get to play alot. You set the standards man; great job on all the accomplishments! But did you have to go and beat out my Wanted Dead Or Alive, I was really proud of that one. Just pickin, keep it up! |

Nice job on the 11 mil! I just broke 9.
We seem to be having problems on a lot of the same phrases.
I think I can get the Ballroom Blitz one, but I don't think I've ever gotten an awesome on the "Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!" part, even if I'm matching pitch most of it. Otherwise I'm pretty solid on that song. _________________
