I did not enjoy Jesus Christ Pose at ALL on guitar. It's hard for all the wrong reasons. It's not hard to pass, and nothing looks very hard on it, but it's impossible to retain a combo.

I'd honestly disagree. it took me a minute to get the pattern down, but once you do, it's really satisfying to hit. The only disappointments I had with the song were:

1) the lack of a solo. c'mon, soundgarden... black hole sun had a kickass guitar solo, pretty noose had a kickass guitar solo, and spoonman has kickass solos for every instrument including vox (tons of vocal freestyling). Jesus Christ Pose has none?

Which brings me to my next point...
2) repetition. Drums, bass, guitar. all have two or so very fun patterns, but... not much else.

Anyways, I still love the song, and honestly, I'm not sure if it's the weird fretting that's making me tense up, but this song on guitar cramps my hand more than thrasher does. seriously.

There's three distinct patterns in Jesus Christ Pose on drums. I actually like the bridge parts the best, although that's probably because I can actually hold a combo, unlike the verses

maybe I didn't pay close enough attention to the video.

anyways, I was exaggerating for the most part, but the song does seem very repetitive.

Everyone had made Caprici out to be the hardest song ever, but I passed it sightread. And I still can't pass any boss battles, any dragonforce, Jordan or Thrasher.

Of course I wasn't recording since I'm throwing my other videos through a premiere processor first since I'm on a slow internet connection this week....

What about the Dragonforce DLC pack they released back in GH3 back in August? Did you at least beat Operation Ground and Pound? I could have, but I couldn't motivate myself to keep playing for seven minutes. If I want to play a 7 1/2 minute long song, i'll stick with Panic Attack.

And holy crap, I saw your Damnation Game vid. You must have thought, "oh god, I can't overdrive, i'm going to fail" the WHOLE time during that solo, huh? But you miraculously lived D:

well caprici di diablo is the most fun on guitar by a longshot, but it's an instrumental. out of the two with vox I'd say go for Damnation Game.

and woo, I passed Jesus Christ Pose on my expert drum sightread. I could almost hit the pattern 50% of the time by the end! I would've gotten four stars had I not missed the BRE... bleh.

but yeah, when that song clicks, boy is it fun.

I kinda regret getting the whole Ygnwie pack. I don't feel like "Damnation Game" is nearly as good as the other two.

Wow, this Yngwie is epic. I have really been pushing for some of his stuff for a while now, and its great to see it.

Go go go Harmonix.

Does Diablo seem really undercharted in alot of places to some people? I mean its still effing amazing to play. Alot of the song seems like it should be pretty similar to the third solo

Can't afford anything else, but I bought the Yngwie stuff. All 3 songs are awesome, passed and 4* (or 5*) all songs on my sightread.

Hope I can get some MSP soon so I can buy The Killers and Soundgarden stuff.

Damnation Game is better on Bass than Guitar.

I might have had the worst sightread of Caprici Di Diablo ever.

I failed at 98% during the last couple decending triplets. It's not that I can't do them, but my arm was about to burst into flames at that point and nothing was working.

This song is hard as balls.

I was going to make a long, dramatic post about my Caprici experience, but this sums it up to a tee. Exact same thing happened to me.

Passed Red Devil and Damnation Game on sightread with some terrible 4* scores.
