well it was GH when they were still overcharting things, but its still difficult on the arm for Police Truck |
Plus, that was a cover version, so that bit at the end it what throws everyone off. _________________

The Mission of Burma pack is amazing! Pretty difficult on the full combos too. |

Holy crap, the MoB pack is basically the RB equivalent of the Dropkick Murphys pack for GH3 - Both are packed with strange as hell fast strumming rhythms and three-note chords. The songs in the pack was surprisingly good to me, though, and I look forward to hearing more of their music, not only in RB.
The DK pack was awesome, but the charts of Police Truck and most notably Holiday in Cambodia lacked lots of hammer-ons. They still look really fun to play, though, especially HiC with that insane strumming solo.
The Girls of Metal pack was OK. I was just sitting and looking at Npeaen's Forever Expert Guitar video, wondering "Why the hell is this song in tier 6 (Or tier 5, if you prefer ranking songs by the little "difficulty board" on the RB2 song list screen with devil heads for the final tier), when the guitar solo popped up right at the end. And I was like "So that's the characteristic of the song that places it in the second-to-last tier?" The solo looks tough, there's no way I can deny that, but move it down a tier, maybe even two.
Gone is a vast improvement on Crooked X's musical style. They manage to keep their badass, heavy, chugging riffs and anthemic choruses, but they also put in more melodic and slow parts that prove that they're not trying to be a stereotypical old school 80's glam band as they may seem to a lot of people, but a band with ability to add variation.
So you might say I'm pretty satisfied with this DLC release. Good job, Harmonix. _________________

I'd never heard of Mission Of Burma before this announcement. Now I'm basically in love with them.
I may be way off base here, but their stuff is reminding of like...a cross between Joy Division and The Clash. Makes sense I guess, given the Post-Punk label.
I love how this game keeps introducing me to new music. |

AAAAAGH!
Why does Harmonix have to underchart all of my favorite songs? First they took out a bunch of notes from the Highway Star solo, now they chart all the power chords in Police Truck as single notes! Terrible |

Has any one else noted that the "Dead Kennedys" pack was released on the same week as the 45th Anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (November 22, 1963)? _________________
