I just hooked up my drums to my computer to see if it would recognize it, and guess what... It did. So i had this idea. I've been wanting to record some drum beats on my computer because I play guitar and I need some drum tracks done. Does anyone know if i could use these drums and maybe some kind of drum software to record on my computer. If anyone has tried it or has a drum software they use for other electric drums let me know.

thanks

That wasn't the problem. I plugged mine in and windows recognized it fine and i could do all the controller testing stuff like that. The problem is, i need some software that will allow me to map some sounds to those buttons and record what I play.

Try some programs such as Drumkit from Hell.

I made a thread about this yesterday. You need three programs to use it in Reason (and I'm assuming other programs too because it turns the rb drums into a midi controller)

You need: Xpadder, Bome's Mouse Keyboard, and MidiYoke
