Did they change the scoring system?

On all the vids I've seen, people are coming up with really low scores (60k-ish for a Mississippi Queen FC, etc). Is something different about the pointage in this game?

I believe each note is worth 25 now instead of the usual 50. Correct if I'm wrong, someone.

Nod, 25 per note.
very odd.
Bass goes up to 6x.
Drums count each hit as a note for streak.
so a G, G+R, G+R+Bass would give you 6 notes towards your streak.
Similar woulda been 3 notes on the guitars.

And vocals you have to perfect awhole phrase to keep combo.
Im not sure how vocals work.
I had a multiplier going, finished a phrase and got around 3000 points.
