This is interesting.
My two friends recently started doing expert vocals.
Today, one of them fc'ed "Sabotage" with a 150,000.
This seemed really odd considering his single highest score prior to that run was just under 30,000.
That one doesn't concern me so much because there have been a lot of fc's on it and he does know the song.
The one that did get me was my other friend adamantly claims to have hit the "Ow" on "Next To You" yesterday, though he didn't fc the rest of it, so he couldn't get a pic of the 100%. That is the one that seems the most strange, as not any of the top vocalists (who really seem to have mastered the talking stuff and have no doubt tried to hit the Ow over and over) have ever actually hit it.
Both of those occurrences happening so recently and suddenly that it kind of made me wonder if the talking stuff has been patched? Has anyone tried the "Ow" lately or noticed the talking stuff on any particular songs being easier? I hardly ever get to play the game, so I don't have much of way to check on it myself.
Then again, it could just be freak coincidence that they both pulled off some really hard to hit stuff. |

no it hasn't been any easier for me. I can only fill up 1/4 of the pie circle thing on the "Owww!". and I miss a "Yeahhhh" in Enter Sandman that keeps me from an FC... |

I call shennanigans on your friend about Next To You. The Sabotage thing is weird though. Ask your friends their mic sensitivity and how they do it.
Funny you mention Enter Sandman Cdylan...the best way for me to get an okay on Next to You is to sing the ow in NtY like the Ooh in EntrSndmn. lol. :p
I'll investigate this "patch" theory myself. |

It seems it was all coincidence. The next time he tried Sabotage, he barely cracked 60,000 points on it. I tried his specific settings and technique that worked for him, but it was actually much worse than my usual approach. I really don't get to play it enough to give the trouble songs their proper attention. |

The closest I've come to getting the "Ow!" is a strong. My friend can get it on ps2, but it's a lot easier. When experimenting with it, I found out it's more of a "AAHHW-WOAH!" The key to getting it is knowing when to switch between the two "syllables" in that small time. I haven't figured out when that is yet...
The patch is an interesting theory. I haven't found any talky part to be any easier yet for me, but there have been a few patches that I've downloaded and I have no idea what they did. _________________
