see http://wiki.scorehero.com/Song_RB2_YYZ_FullBand_Expert
This does a pretty decent job of describing the fact that there is no path for this combination of players on this song. However, there are another... 60 or so pages that would need to duplicate this information. (Vox, Voxtar, VoxBass, VoxDrum, GBV, GDV, BDV, GBDV, times 4 difficulties, times 2 games.)
There does not appear to be a means of using a "template" on wikkawiki. If I'm wrong, please correct me. Using a template would allow for the inclusion of all the relevant text, but a common formatting across all songs/combinations/games that this situation applied to.
Obviously, the same text can be copied/pasted into every relevant path page, but if someone wanted to expand on something (say, link to a relevant discussion thread or something), or fix a typo, they'd have to then edit all 60-whatever pages. (and as more instrumentals come along, that number would grow as well.)
Would a redirect to a common page be a good workaround? (assuming there are indeed no templates) Every one of those path pages could redirect to "PathsNoVocalChart" (or some other clever name), which could be a one-stop page for these situations.
just curious. I'm sure there are more pressing issues than getting all the YYZ no-vox charts documented. ;) _________________

If someone wants to work towards making one page really nicely formatted with inclusion of relevant info then I can turn the mockup into a template to accept path information and automatically perform the formatting. I'm pretty bad at design/layouts, and some of the work I see on user pages already is quite impressive!
So I'll leave it up to you all to decide on the best way to format path information, and once we decide on a good mockup then I'll set up a way to mimic that formatting everywhere else. _________________
